  4. program will open in old Bud program only/ but will not go in BUDS 2 to let use program ECU problem working on has new engine/ new fuel pump/ injectors/ lines/ sensors/ crank sensor maps/ and new throttle body and injectors. machine starts runs a minute dies/ on 3 rd try says key not recognized /we put other key in and same thing happens/wait 10 minutes, you can go again/ is there a back door in the program/ also might mention unplug temp sensor and map sensor , it will run a few minutes longer / then die again.
  5. Yeah I feel your pain, just the what the hell moments when working on stuff over the years. Just replaced the parking brake ratchet on my old JD-770 tractor, 1 hour to take the step/floor off, take the brake arms off leaving just enough room to pull the pivot shaft off to put the new ratchet on. Had they extended the shaft about a quarter inch and reversed it, maybe 15 minutes with taking a break to sip your coffee to replace it. grrrrr All I can say is keep looking and a part will show up, you may have to "engineer" it but you get lucky once in a while.
  6. I've been searching for off and on for several years now with no luck. I also looked into adapting other UTV mirrors to mount but never could come up with a clean and easy re-engineering solution. I own several Kub tractors along with the RTVs and most of the time, I give Kub designs a thumbs up. However, I've come across several instances where Kub design is terrible and doesn't come close to being good.

  8. FYI, Got this as a reply from litime: "The manufacturer warranty applies only to products purchased through the LiTime official website or the official Amazon store. Purchases made from third-party retailers follow that retailer’s own return and exchange policy."
  9. Did you ever get it going? You have spark so you're good there. Um. just a thought, like it's NEVER happened to me or anything, but does it have a manual fuel shutoff valve? I would check the fuel line and or inline fuel filter to make sure gas comes out ok. Even with a newer ish machine check the tank for anything blocking the outlet. Can you drain the carb float bowl and see if water or how much gas comes out? If nothing comes out you might be able to "lightly" tap the side of the carb to loosen up a stuck float. If it sat for many months with a half empty tank then water/condensation may have got into the tank. Just something to think about, Always use a gas treatment/stabilizer. Many out there, just pick one. I've used "Sta-Bil Storage" for years and year round as I might use my equipment every day or it may sit for a year or so like my pressure washer. Keep your fuel tank full if they're going to sit for a while and try to use a gas station that is fairly busy as it should have fresher fuel than a mom and pop place off the beaten path. In theory anyway. I use a couple of 14 gal portable tanks to fuel all my non hi-way machines so I don't have to remember if I had treated them or not.
  10. I have an Axis 500 and never had any problems until now,it cuts out at around half throttle. I changed the TPS with no difference, acts like the seatbelts aren't set but can get up to around 15 mph as long as I don't give it too much gas, thanks for any advice
  11. If you haven't already have you tried a search on the web or amazona? Sometimes you can get a hit on 3rd party stuff like that. With a well known brand you would think there should be a few options out there. Like you said maybe look at the newer ones but also look at other brands as every once in a while you'll see them using the same options.
  12. So I have a Bennche Bighorn 500 that I bought used a couple years ago. Was working fine until this winter when I was plowing and I think it drained the battery. And had a difficult time starting and staying running. Idle seamed really low, and would only stay running if I pushed on the throttle. So I changed the battery, and the acm valve, fuel filter and spark plug it will start up and surgery to 3k rpm but comes back down and dies, unless I give it throttle. I am getting fairly good amount of fuel from fuel pump. It does spit at stutter right before it dies. What should I try next?
  13. Shouldn't have to . . . . and for all the neighbors, too!!!???
  14. I’ve substantially quieted it down. My biggest issues are about a 24 mile range and brakes dragging. I can live with the tires until I decide to replace them.
  15. Yes. And I’m sure the open tread design is also contributing to substantial vibration and noise
  16. Did you maybe overfill it?
  17. I’m not trying to be trite or dismissive of the loudness. My 500 is louder than I would like as well. But a simple set of foam earplugs will protect your hearing. It will be costlier and way more work to actually make it quiet. My next one will definitely be quieter. 🙉
  18. I have a 2021 UV34XL and I am kind of looking to change it up from the orange wheels and maybe do a wrap? Please share photos of any XLs that has been modified to look better and any seat covers recommended.thanks
  19. I purchased them on Amazon for a total of $1,341. I hope the manufacturer warranty is in place! Will do!
  20. Sweet! did you buy from amazon or litime? Looks like amazon is cheaper right now, but before buying I was going to find out from litime if the full warranty is valid if purchased there. I'll be buying here within the next couple weeks when I have time to install. I'd be grateful if you can post your experience here as you go.
  21. I plan to use the factory cables. From what I've read here they seem to be heavy duty. My LiTime batteries are in the mail. I've removed the compartment covers, cleaning, and am about to disconnect the Discovery batts. May sell them on FB Marketplace.
  22. Has anyone found a decent replacement for the factory mirrors on a 2020 1100C? My 2011 1100 and 2020 1100C both have the same mirrors and Kubota hasn't made one improvement to the design during those years. Haven't checked the newer models so maybe Kubota finally woke up. Mine are definitely in need of improvement. .
  23. Thanks for the info! Good to know about the lower heat generated during discharge...
  24. Not my machine T boss 800 Massimo, < 300 hours will not shift at transmission, cable from selector knob is okay, cannot get it to shift at the transmission. Is there a safety one of the safeties I'm not holding in, I've tried the brake is something weird going on or is it Transmission problems.
  25. Hisuns seem to be a noisy machine. At least my SxS is, as there are zero sound deadening mats anywhere. Every flat surface serves to transmit engine roar and vibration. Their engines seem to have heavy vibration and that transfers into the frame and then body components. On my 550 UTV, the engine half sticks out behind the cab, and it is difficult to mitigate noise entering the cab. Just a thought here, this won't help with external noise, but you might consider sound deadening under the cab. Kilmat is one brand of self adhesive sound deadener that might help somewhat with noise inside the cab.
  26. Should generally be fine, although I'm guessing you saw that the minimum operating temperature is -4F. I've found that the batteries don't heat up during discharge as much as you might think, which is normally a good thing unless you're at -10F! Guessing that isn't the norm though, so maybe you could get away with just plowing a little later in the day when it's really cold. If you really wanted to be safe, you could get a simple heating mat run off the 12V side and put that on top, but I wouldn't worry about that until you come across those conditions (snowing and extreme cold at the same time). I also see that the max continuous output is 80A. Pushing a plow can be heavy work, so definitely want at least the four batteries you're planning. Max output of the UTV motor is 400A. Others on this thread have been fine with lower total outputs of their batteries, probably because the times they need the highest output fit within the time-limited specs (e.g. XXXA for 30sec.), but if you can afford it, more is better. I used four because my batteries have a 100A continuous output rating, but they were also quite expensive at the time (pretty much the only viable GC2 option back then really). Even then I would have put in more if they had been cheaper since that also increases the total capacity. I've still never gone below 70%, but again, more is better! My opinion, for what it's worth, is get at least five, especially for the price those batteries are right now.

  28. I'm planning to get the LiTime batteries which have the temperature protection (https://www.litime.com/products/48v-30ah-lithium-golf-cart-battery-gc2?variant=45688298569948). It's not a heater, just a charge/discharge safety cutoff. Just want to avoid a dead atv in the middle of my driveway with a mound of snow in front of it! I'm not even close to N Canada, but at times it can get down to -10f or so.
