  7. I have to admit I fully understand and know of the experiences first hand, you are right. That's why I took it upon myself to help those out there who have questions or need some service advice. The dealer network is very poor. Hisun, massimo and Bennche all are connected and they don't have the same dealer support as the larger Japanese or others out there. Their model is to just sell as much as possible, and not worry to much about service and parts. They don't have the same "race on sunday and sell on monday" as the other main manufactures. They Don't have a budget for things like racing or advertising. Their sales continue to rise every year regardless of how they treat the dealer network. One of the reasons for poor performance with the dealer support is that they don't have a lot of dealers currently to match the others out there. That means when you need a part or service its not easy to find a local dealership. Also, the aftermarket is cautious to jump on board and support those vehicles unless the manufacture helps them. This manufacture does not understand that relationship and thus it lacks in this area. They dont understand why they need to support the aftermarket, when all they want to do is sell product. As far as quality goes, they are okay. They have teething issues just like everyone else does. The dealers don't want to fix them because they just dont know much about them and they want the easy fix to continue to make money. When you have a dealer or mechanic that looks at them and instantly thinks to them selves that its a piece of @#$%, then they have already got it in their mind that they dont want to work on it, when its easier to repair than most larger company UTVs out there. Theres also the problem with ordering parts, as they are located in central U.S. only. and it takes time to ship parts out to them, there is no local warehouse like some other manufactures have available. Folks like tractor supply hate working on them, their policies are really aimed at just selling them, and when they break down, its a pain for them to work on them. Any good mechanic can pretty much do any repair on these units, remember it takes fuel, compression and spark to make something run. When tractor supply tries to get warranty done with the manufacture it takes longer than they would like, and that cost money. Yes its not a perfect system for the Chinese UTV market, but they are not the complete problem, some of the blame does rest on some dealerships out there who just dont want to work on them. So it gets a bad rap for sure. For me, its been up and down, but my customers have continued to call upon me for assistance and help and I will continue to provide that to them at no charge. I am retired and I do have a small dealership just to keep busy. I enjoy the conversations I have with my customers and continually look for answers to their questions, even when I don't know it. I try to walk them through the problem and even provide an alternative part when I can. I am sorry you have had such a bad feeling from these UTVs, they can be a ton of fun for the money, as long as you walk into it understanding that it might have a problem that you will have to address some time. I have never owned a vehicle that didnt need to go to the dealership once in its life. For what you get, they are still a great bargain, and I would still continue to recommend them to others while advising them of the problems ahead of time. I am open and want my folks to be happy. I tell them the good and bad before they buy any of these products, knowing they will not buy from me as they are mostly out of state, so why not be honest and let them know up front.
  8. I just got off the phone with Hisun. So, the MSU 700 is a mix of parts from the Yamaha parts bin. They are using a Rhino 660 cylinder head and it has 5 valves instead of the Yamahas 4 valve head on the Rhino 700. They had to use a mix of yamaha parts to keep Yamaha happy. This way they can say they didnt copy their engine. There is no real way to know if the kit will work. If you are looking for additional power, I would perhaps get a Rhino 660 performance cam, port your head and have a good exhaust system. The fastest way to power is how fast you can get the air and fuel through the engine, per the cylinder head. This will do more for you than any big bore kit. Porting alone will increase your power. Porting can be done by almost anyone who you trust in your area. The cams are available online almost everywhere as well. This is just my 2cents. Another way is to program your ECU for additional fuel curve. They have their own bore size. engine size: 686cc bore and stroke:102×84.0mm compression ratio: 9.2:1
  9. In order to keep Yamaha happy, Hisun had to change the design by 5%. The clutch can use a Yamaha replacement or any aftermarket clutch that will fit the rhino 700 as well. As for the cylinder head and cylinder it is slightly different. Not sure if the aftermarket kit will work. what does the kit come with? Is it just a larger piston and you bore out your cylinder? or does it come with more parts.

  17. Hello to all. I have been swamped with phone calls and emails about products and information on the Strike and Sector 250. So, I have decided to return in a limited capacity. I have re opened the website for the Hisun products. I have listed a lot of helpful tips and tricks. I have also listed where you can purchase the products and more information for free. I am doing this as I still have fun with our own personal Hisun and I want other parents out there to continue to enjoy this little machine and with my help, everyone will have a blast on them. I still have a few items in stock such as lift kits and some other items, but for the most part, I have listed the part numbers and where to get them online. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you. www.warriorsoffroad.com is the link to the site, there you will find things like a free service manual, guides, tips and more. There is a free download section with lots of files. There is also a list of items that are the most asked for with information on them. Matt

  19. Hello to all. We have decided to shut down operations here at Warriors Off Road. It is for a few reasons which I will explain. First off, my customers have been amazing and great people to deal with. 1. I have gotten zeor support from HISUN U.S.A. at all regarding parts to R&D with. Every parts I have developed was at my own expense, sometimes buy parts just to see if they will or can be modified as there are no used parts on the market to buy just to tear down. 2. I had an experience with HISUN MOTORS WEST which just sat wrong with me. I had one if there west coast reps call me and tell me that they need to be in the loop when I talk to any of my race teams, telling me they want to be the go between. The call was an attempt to oversea my race operations with no factory support for me at all. 3. The parts I had developed were taking a very long time to move off the shelf. No dealer ever contacted me about stocking any of my parts for their customers, as well as HISUN never really notified any dealers of my company to help support the industry. I put out thousands of dollars of my own to get the price down to a market competitive place, only to have a ton of inventory sitting on my shelves waiting to be sold. It would take me two years at this rate to move my inventory and recoup my cost alone. 4. I was only getting about 1 to 2 customers a week, so the volume was not enough to sustain a full time operation. 5. Getting parts from HISUN was interesting to say the least. The parts I would order would more than often be incorrect and it would take a lot of time and energy to find the correct parts. The parts listing often has incorrect parts listed, or no listing at all. It would take weeks to return and get my refund for my parts as well. Parts would change without any notice to dealers, as I am one. I would never be notified of a parts change, and at times I knew more about the parts than the tech support at HISUN. 6. As an example, to get the performance clutches, I would spend $8500 to get them customer made. I have only sold 1 to date. I had spent $2850 doing custom rear sprockets, and then most of the race teams wanted them for free. I spent over $3250 to get custom tie rod kits made, only to sell just 4 of the kits. The only product that I developed that sustained me was the lift kits. I would maybe sell 3 a month. 7. HISUN has no real interest in the aftermarket business, they don't understand the concept of race on Sunday, and sell on Monday. They are strictly a retail operation, with little belief that the aftermarket industry can do anything for sales. They believe in the model to building a product, selling that product and moving on to the next product. HISUN North America is controlled by HISUN China, and China does not support the aftermarket industry for HISUN. They don't believe in sponsoring race teams, and what budget they do have, is the smallest I have ever heard of. They want to open as many dealers as possible, with little support after they open. They are aware of problems that even I have passed down to the tech department, with little to no interest to fix. When there is a parts change, they have no idea what model year it happened or to what VIN numbers are affected. I have called and asked and been told they do not keep that information. 8. Parts pricing is still out of control. They OEM parts are sometimes almost half the cost of the entire unit, (speaking for the 250 models here) Some of the smallest parts cost over $100, when it should be around $15 retail. Some parts are not even available such as the frame. When you bend or brake the frame, you are out of luck. You cannot buy a new one as it has the VIN on it, and they wont sell you one. So for all those racers out there who roll or crash it and bend the unit. (which is easy due to the thin wall tube) you are stuck with cutting and welding in new sections yourself, or buying a brand new unit. 9. the parts that have been changed, were to detune the unit, thus the 2015 models were much faster. but HISUN will not support the 2015 model year with replacement parts such as transmission parts. You will be left with having to buy and install the newer transmission units, and loose almost 15 to 20 mph as a result. I have many customers not happy as a result of this, buying a product because it performs one way, only to be told, sorry, we have to change it and there is nothing you can do about it. You will be stuck with a unit that has been altered from the one you bought. No business can sustain such drain without a better return. With no support coming from HISUN for R&D or things of that nature an aftermarket business cannot sustain fluid capital to continue operations. Most of the aftermarket manufactures have a relationship with their OEM's that help them succeed. HISUN has no plans to follow in the path of the other manufactures. The bottom line is that HISUN is only worried about sales numbers, they really have no interest with anything other issues. The sales reps are under constant pressure to open new dealers, leaving little time and energy to support what dealers they already have. I have spent over $30K investing my own capital into this only to have slow moving sales, no factory support and being told I have to call them before I sell any racer a part first. I hope you all the best in your search for parts. I will list the places where you can now get some of the products I have developed: rear sprockets in almost any size: Sprocket Specialist 800-782-8200 and ask for Lance front tie rod kits for the Strike 250: American STar Racing 435-562-4386 Air filters, are almost the same as the Yamaha 660 Rhino, they will fit. you can source them on the internet For anyone wanting OEM parts, you can get a great price at Motorcycle Doctor. Ask for John or Craig. 573-346-6867 Thank you for all of your time and support. you can always email me here for questions about your Strike or Sector 250 Matt
  20. No problem. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, no matter how silly they sound. Where are you located? How old is your son, and what kind of riding is he going to be doing? Matt
  21. Yes, but the parts internally are shared. Not all but most of them are the same.
  22. Send me private message with your email and I'll send you a link to the OEM manual.
