  1. Glad to hear that. Shouldn't there be some sort of backup plan for situations like this?
  2. Unfortunately, innocent people are suffering because of this bit of oversight.
  3. Hmmm...living in Ohio I don't have the salty air. I had no idea it was that caustic. I see what salt does to vehicles up here (hence the "rust belt" moniker), but at least I get a break from it during the other seasons.
  4. Is it safe to assume that they weren't designed to operate in adverse weather conditions, due to the normal climate in Texas?
  5. I hear that "green" power has crapped out, and lots of folks are in the dark and cold. Another great idea brought to you by the Demonrats!
  6. Would some dielectric grease help?
  7. Good one!!!👍
  8. Better make a bunch. They may need to double or triple the masks.
  9. Maybe Fauci can set the standards for treatment, and he can develop a vaccine. Certainly couldn't be any less effective than the one for Covid 19!
  10. Must be something going around, lol. Could be it caught it from another ATV. Probably should have been wearing a mask. You may have to quarantine it for 14 days. Given the current administration, this may not be far from possible.
  11. That looks kinda bad. If it doesn't solve your problem, it will at least help things.
  12. Been there, done that! Sucks!!!
  13. Ya know, the USPS wonders why Trump didn't want them funded anymore.
  14. Wow, maybe you should frame that one and order another one. Finding anything that is made in the USA is becoming more difficult nowadays.
  15. I wonder if you could get a better start with a larger battery cable, like Joe said.
  16. Delivery is getting so slow anymore. A package sent from my house to another residence 75 miles away took 3 months. Just getting stupid slow.
  17. Those beings (I refuse to refer to them as human) seem to have their own set of rules that only apply to them. Their days are numbered.
  18. Well, I started it again today after sitting for several days. Cranked right up without a hitch. Guess it was the solenoid all along.
  19. Nothing on the paperwork that was included with the starter that gives you any useful info?
  20. So you are back to replacing the cables?
  21. But you have a functioning fuel pump, correct? I don't know what would be obstructing the fuel from reaching the cylinder.
  22. Don't forget to check the flywheel also, if you can. I would think that, with the hours on it and the starter being new, that the flywheel would be the suspect this time.
  23. Is there play in the starter shaft? Or did the clutch for the flywheel wear enough to throw the flywheel out of alignment enough to jamb the starter gear and prevent it from contacting the flywheel?
  24. Is the cable the same gauge from the battery to the starter? Sounds like something is dropping the amps from the battery to the solenoid. I don't understand how your starter works, since it doesn't have a bendix to push the gear out to contact the flywheel. But if it was working properly after installing the new one, I would have to believe that it was something internal with the starter.
  25. Is the injector pre or post butterfly valve? Assuming that it's similar to an automotive throttle body fuel injection system, that puts the injector before the butterfly valve. In that case, it could be the butterfly valve. But if it's similar to mine, it's a mechanical butterfly valve, and should be opening and closing via a cable. You can check that. You mentioned that the coil is getting power. Have you confirmed that the spark plug is actually firing? Maybe it's a overhead valve out of adjustment? Just spitballing here, trying to help.
