  1. My T-boss 410 does the same thing, but intermittently. Mine is probably a loose wire at the starter. Or the starter relay. I haven't checked mine yet, but let me know if I have helped!
  2. Can anyone advise where this is located? I am going to check the connections, since I have an occasional no start situation. Sometimes I get no power whatsoever to the starter, but the rest of the UTV functions. Thanks
  3. So, unlike a limited slip differential such as in the automotive industry, it's locked always? Yeah, I can see how that would make it more difficult to turn. You would think the engineers would have taken that into consideration during the design phase. I have used mine for some yard work, and I can see what you mean. It doesn't have a very tight turning radius. Great for straight line traction, though.
  4. Did you ever get in touch with the big boss? Just curious about the answer, since I have a T-boss, also.
  5. This may help: https://www.partstree.com/search/?type=model&term=465+37ac465d010+37ac465d210+cub+cadet+4x4+volunteer+tracker+utility+vehicle+sn+1i018g+1i019g
  6. Are we talking about the front or rear differential? The front diff is the one that locks when the 4X4 is engaged. At least, that's what the tech said. I don't know about the rear diff. I have downloaded both the owner's manual and the parts manual, but I don't remember seeing anything about the rear diff.
  7. The last time I checked the battery was when I recharged it. Not since then, but I will do that. I will also check for the neutral safety switch. Thanks!!!
  8. That sounds like what my problem is. Where is the neutral safety switch located?
  9. I appreciate the reply. I know the battery terminal connections are tight. I will check the other connections tomorrow. Thanks again!
  10. Is there one on these UTV's? Almost every time I start it, it takes a few tries. I get nothing when I hit the key, no sound or anything. Maybe something in the ignition switch? Thanks!
  11. I asked the same question to a Massimo tech. He advised that the differential only locks when the 4 wheel drive is engaged. Hope this helps!
  12. Me too! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  13. I had it running earlier, and it started right up, no bogging down. That has me feeling a bit better. Thanks for all the help! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks, Travis. I got an email from a tech at Massimo, who advised that this is a common occurrence. He says that it will do that on the compression stroke, and since the compression ratio is high on these engines, it tends to bog down the starter.
  15. So more than likely it's something that can't be remedied?
  16. It's a 25.5 hp single cylinder engine. How do I know if it has the compression relief valve?
  17. When I start this UTV, the starter seems to bind up, then it takes off and the engine starts right up. I charged the battery, and tightened the terminals. This is a new unit. The battery is a 330 cca unit. The terminals were clean, but I haven't checked the wires at the starter. Any ideas? Thanks Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  18. I just heard from a Massimo tech. The T-Boss 410 wasn't designed for dimming headlights. The parts manual shows a switch for this, which is marked for the US market only. So essentially, it ain't got one. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  19. Hmmm, my BMS had one. But the T-Boss has LED headlights, so I don't know how that would work. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  20. I don't know if there is some sort of relay near the fan, but I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was doing the same thing. It was the relay that was located on the inner fender. I had to cut out a piece of the front bumper cover, which luckily was not visible when everything was reassembled. Had to remove the battery cable to keep from completely discharging the battery.
