thats about all we can do now.. cant sell them unless you want to give it away . No Honda dealer will take one on trade-in. As HISUN parts fail on mine, I have replaced them with YAMAHA parts.. This engine is a near exact clone of the earlier Yamaha Rhino engine .. When it does have a catastrophic failure, I will order a reman Rhino engine and swap it out. I was told by a rebuilder that it will bolt right in . I hope the new guy here that took the plunge does not drown in the misery that is owning HISUN products . Best wishes dude. or condolences as it may turn out

When I bought mine, they gave me the name of 3 authorized repair shops within 100 miles .. NOT ONE of them will work on them now.. They never got paid for any warranty work. I had to pay CASH up front to get it fixed 6 times in first year. Only one shop will even consider working on them if you pay cash.. Parts take forever to come in.

Theres no mystery.. theres just no warranty ... Mine broke on first day.. Called Dallas Assembly Plant about them paying for warranty work.. Rep said, sorry thats not happening, we dont warranty anything Hisun anymore, they are junk

haha.. I hear ya. Fortunately for me , my wife worked with me in Construction so shes knowledgable about tools and equipment quality . but she will still spend a small fortune on SHOES!! I try to warn everyone i see looking at these Chinese UTVs at Tractor supply and Home depot and Lowes.. I just wish someone had told me that day in 2018.... DONT BUY IT! YOU WILL REGRET IT! BUY A HONDA OR KAWASAKI !

I bought a MSU 500 Massimo /HISUN product from Tractor Supply. in 2018 .. In the shop 6 times in first year for overheating, cracked head, head gaskets , waterpump, etc...... ZERO WARRANTY REIMBURSEMENT from company... It broke on its first use on its first day!! RUN, dont walk away from any HISUN UTV.. They are junk .. You have been warned.

was it in water? wet the electronics or wiring ? check fuel line for obstruction from trash in tank ..

Down here in swamp country dude ... Louisiana .. Guys I have spent two days now on one of my Corvettes.. I know its not a 4WD, but I just thought I would mention it.. The thing has front engine but rear Trans and Differential, connected by a 6 inch Alum. Torque Tube that the driveshaft spins inside of.. No U-joints, 3 pressed in bearings .. To get it out, the floor, the entire dual exhaust, the trans and diff and the entire rear suspension had to come out.. What a Biatch.. Got it out, waiting on parts. Some engineer at GM is LAUGHING his ars off at me. Geeesh! Somebody wanna buy me a beer??

I just got ad from our local Powersport Dealer.. NEW 2022 HONDA PIONEER 520 SXS ... $9599 in red and moss .... I wish they had those when I wasted my money on Massimo . They show 42 UTVs and 71 ATVs in stock

Wont be any from a Massimo.. Nothing on them is made anywhere but Communist China, by workers making peanuts for wages and from inferior materials . and that, my friend , is where Massimo FAILS MISERABLY.. They wont back up their products at all. When a company wont back their warranty when their product fails on its very first use, you truly have chit for a company .. Regardless of product quality

Well I was curious about where parts really come from.. I looked in my shop corner where I pile old parts fro ATVs. Motorcycles , Corvettes etc.. Guess what? NONE of the old parts from my Hondas say MADE IN CHINA! .. In fact 2 old starters , latest was a 2016, say MITSUBA Corp .. I looked them up. " MITSUBA was founded back in 1930, and is located in Shinagawa, Tokyo and are a major supplier to various American, Canadian and Japanese manufacturers ... Correct me if I am wrong Bill, but isnt TOKYO IN JAPAN? hmmmm Not one part says CHINA!

Linhai is not YAMAHA.. read their website. They "engage in joint ventures with Yamaha" but they are not Yamaha owned . Which still brings us back to most of ours have HISUN engines which Massimo rep admitted ARE JUNK and thats why they switched to Linhai. Just sayin

I would bet its a head gasket failure.. Check your oil for coolant . It will look like chocolate milk . This is a plague on Massimo engines.. Mine had a cracked head too.. fill the radiator , put cap back on, run the engine and watch for air bubbles in the recovery bottle as it heats up

I would not have sold in to a friend. lol.....Dont need to now.. Spent $$$$$$$$ converting to YAMAHA critical parts.. its running good now.. The MSU 500 is a 95% clone of Yamahas RHINO machine , but with cheap chinese made parts .. that Massimo refuses to warranty .

It took many calls and unanswered messages before someone actually answered their Tech line. Guy was a jerk , refused to help in any way .. He even told me their HISUN engines were complete junk and they had switched to LINHAI engines , a Chinese Co. cloning Yamaha engines but with cheap parts. . So they dont warranty HISUN . Someone said Linhai is owned by YAMAHA... not true.. Its a Chinese owned co.

I wish I had paid the $4K more for the Honda Pioneer.. I would have saved money after 6 times in the repair shop that Massimo refused to pay for .. 1st time, it was 1 day old when it broke in its 1st mile .. I even tried to trade it in at a big loss.. HONDA would not take it and it was brand new with ...haha warranty..haha

WOW! They have updates Support and , let me guess, hired NEW STAFF just to help us? That makes 4 times since 2018 when I bought mine that they have tried to delay us til warranty runs out. .. Dont believe it.. Its just another scam to get sales on existing inventory.. There is a class action lawsuit building against them now. They sucked then, they suck now and they will suck in the future... When I tried to get them to pay shop for warranty when mine was only a week old, Rep told me on the phone.... "THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN!" and hung up on me

They ALL have stopped working on them everywhere. They dont get paid! A Massimo warranty is about as good as Joe Biden's mental acuity .. I am shocked you could trade it.. Honda refused mine with almost no miles on it

Gritty mud? hmm.....have you checked for a head gasket leak? Sounds like coolant in the oil. mine has never looked like that in my HISUN 500 engine.. Not even the break-in oil it came with.. I changed that at 15 miles after Head Gasket leak, and then cracked head issues. then once more at 100 miles after waterpump fail. . and now I change it every 400 miles.. It looks fine at 400mi but I change it anyway. Amazon oil filters and Castrol Actevo M/C 10W40

Yet before Christmas, I went to our RAM dealer and drove home in a brand spanking new Ram Crewcab Bighorn in about an hour.. and got a huge trade in for my 2017 Ram.. Ya just gotta look.
