Less than 40 miles can barely start. Dealer is working with Hisun on a number of other issues on this UTV. Can not get clear info on the meaning of these E codes this is getting. Anybody have some clear info for me?

Sorry but I have no idea. Was an auto tech for 24 years, worked on drivability complaints all the time, before we had the built-in diagnostics like we do now. Had to pinout everything to test but at least they gave us codes that meant something.

Hisun really needs to get better at getting out diagnostic info. Seems like they have a bunch of rouge programmers out there with each doing their own thing. Really a pity.

Thinking about the lemon law with mine. Not a happy camper here.!

Sorry I can't help You. I know how you feel!

The codes are at the bottom of the ECU manual page 66. The ECU manual does have some T/S stuff in it. You could be missing a ground to the components listed below. Possibly inside a connector i.e. male to female connector not making contact.

P0108 MAP Circuit High Voltage

P0113 IAT Circuit High Voltage or Open

P0123 TPS Circuit High Voltage

P0132 O2A Circuit High Voltage

P0650 MIL Circuit Malfunction

Andy, Thanks so much for the reply.

I was going for a ground concern; it was the E Infront of the codes that was throwing me off. Why didn't they just show a P instead.

It seemed to me it was a loose ground because it changed with the weather, literally every time it rained it had some other fault showing and different running concerns.

I have suggested checking the engine to frame ground to my dealer who has the vehicle now. He seems pretty sharp but is new to Hisun products.

At least now I feel I was on the right diagnostic path. My health is keeping me from doing a lot of the repairs myself. I guess I need to learn to enjoy retirement and let someone else do the work.

Thanks again for the info.

Kinda weird it's showing all high voltages.

Anyone checked the voltages at the batt when it's running? I wonder if the regulator failed and it's getting an excessively high running voltage.

Not a charging problem. Has issues when trying to start, pops codes when it does not even stay running, It will display a code when it does run until I make a right turn at the top of my driveway and the code goes away. If I drive back down my driveway I might get a different code, and that code might just disappear before I get back to the top of the driveway. It gets even worse if it rains while it is parked. It has to be a poor connection someplace. Dealer still has it, have not talked to him for three weeks so I have no idea if he did any of the needed repairs yet. My wife totaled her car last week so I have different concerns at this time. If it ever does get fixed, I will be sure to post what the cause was. I do not have a lot of confidence at this time, as I mentioned in a previous post, I am going to look into the lemon law for this state.

Thanks for your input.

Well, the dealer has had my 750 for seven weeks now for a number of issues that he has been putting off. Not a happy camper! However I was told that Hisun felt it was possibly an MCU problem and it was swapped out while it was in a no start condition. It  seemed to run OK, so the original was put back in and they had a no start condition once again. They then replaced the MCU and felt that there might be an internal intermittent connection to one of the connector pins that was the cause of the codes and running issues. I hope to get my 750 back very soon and if it passes MY smell test, I will call this issue fixed at that time.

Riding out today it acted like it ran out of gas,  stalled and died and would not start.   Towed back to house,  New  plug added this past month,  plenty of oil, getting plenty of gas, battery cranks good.   Trys to kick in and starts but doesnt.   Two days prior while sitting at a idle it died.  Added gas and it started did my ranch chores with it.  But just now it stalled out cranks but will not start.   Tried to find if fault codes came up on the clock like manual says but not sure I am doing that right.  Any and all help apprecated.  Thank you

I have purchased a used Supermach700 (2008), It runs great after a new choke cable but. The temp sensor on the thermostat house is unhooked and can not find where it plugs back in. The fan has been un hooked from the sensor in the rad and cant figure out how it goes back together properly.  The fan was wired to a by pass switch and i just always leave it on but would like to work it properly. I assume the sensor went bad and not changed.

      any help would be great.

I just bought a new 2024 Hison 550 Stryker 2 months ago. this is the second time I have had this issue.  It only has about 20 hours on it. The last time it happened we took it back to the dealer. it was a fuse.  Since we live three-hour time driving there and back. I would like to find another solution if possible.  I have tried all the fuses that seem to have anything to do with starting.  Currently checking the battery. The battery is new. it came with the unit. It is probably 6 months old.  the UTV has all power to everything electrical. lights turn signals and radio all work.  When trying the key to start . it is 100% dead. as in it doesn't even click.  There is a low whirring like the fuel pump is turning on though. The Unit was running and driving just fine.  we shut it down for the night. The next morning my wife found it in this condition.  Thanks for any Ideas or solutions???   Otherwise, it goes back to the dealer tomorrow. Just hope I didn't buy a lemon. Great little UTV when it does run.😅  anyone else ever have this Issue..?
