Went for a ride today and it was sure pretty, lots of greenery, flowers, some deer, cool, high, drove in some snow.

Actually, American Fork Canyon would make a good place for a Jamboree, there are enough trails to keep everyone busy for at least 3 day and some sincere tough stuff for those who want and some spectacular scenery for every one, it's all green scenery so maybe a few desert lovers won't be intrigued. There are golf courses near by that you drive your Trooper to. Fishing.

Kinarfi, what town is it near and is it in UT?

rocmoc n AZ

I drove up there from home, but here's a map with the trail from my home in Pleasant Grove, Utah

I'm sure you'll recognize some of the towns like Heber and Park City too.

So does that mean the 2012 Jamboree is in your yard?

rocmoc n AZ

You can be one very scary DUDE sometimes, But if it works out that that is what every one wants, I may be able to reserve some camp site at Granite Flats campground, plus some free spots fairly near by, but I'm going to wait till things have gelled a lot more. And yes some camping in my back yard would work to a certain extent, just a long ways to the trails. If this gets more serious, I will post more maps of the area.

To help get more hits for this forum, I'm unpinning this thread and will make a new thread called Soapstone Ride and not pin it. I hope others will follow suit and post their rides in a similar method.

I have been searching and can't find much info on these units. Pretty surprising as every other thing I own I find a lot of info on. Researching for tech info and such it's like no one owns any of these yet I see them everywhere.

Hello all. I have a 2005 Joyner sand spider 650 with the dreaded broken output shaft on the transmission. I got ahold of a 2007 joyner commando 650 for cheap that had a bad motor but a good transmission. I got it because everything i read said that the transmission would work but it seems that it will not. Due to the commando being 4x4 it has a selectable locker and a small ring gear using a "idler" gear to turn the ring gear which make the output spin the wrong direction. Is there any way that I can make this thing work? I really dont want a commando,  I like the buggy but if the trans wont work then I can only put my motor in the commando. Any help would be appreciated. I have the ring gear from the original trans but the shaft is broken and the shaft from the commando wont fit the ring gear it doesn't appear.

      Hey yall,
Helping a friend out. he purchased a 2020 massimo buck 400 utv. has about 100 hours on it. after starting the engine, shifter in low, it does fine. when shifted to high gear, most of the time it acts like its not in gear completely, and it pops out and grinds bad. when you can get it in high gear, it acts like something is binding and it wont hardley roll before it jumps out of gear and makes that grinding noise. almost like trying to dr4ive a standard transmission car and start off in 3rd or 4th gear.
I have been on this site for several hours now, and totally understand the overall feeling about massimo utv. I can only imagine trying to find transmission parts when other members cant even find a fuel filter, lol.
A new transmission is (part#47516) $1159.99 plus tax and freight.
anyone have any other ideas or suggestions on what is causing the noise in high gear and not wanting to move?
      Thanks ,
      Chris
