good morning everyone,

Anybody watch the game ugh!!! Anyway so have any of you guys updated your lights on the trooper yet. I popped a bulb went to get new one and surprise I cant, I believe the stock bulb is 35watts???? So I got a 55w halogen bulb thought I was all set disconnected the highbeam. but I left the lights on in the trooper for a bit over the weekend and I blew the fuse So is a 55w to much what have you guys done??

The over head lights are 35 watt, but single elements, I had to go online to find replacement, what is the exact number on the old bulb, it can probably be ordered online. After we figure this out, I'll add it to the parts and pieces thread. As far as the overhead light go, I may be selling mine and I have the two extra bulb also. Changing over to LED lights, but that another thread.

ok I will see if I can get the front bulb replacement ones!!! I wanna go to LED up top as well Ill just get facory ones for front driving lights again I guess. ?! thought I could brighten them up a bit..

I first tried to brighten things up by changing out the two outer bulbs to 100W and inner light bulbs to 55W on the light bar. The original 35W bulbs are cheap and they pull about the same or more than a good replacement 55W bulb. I think even with the higher watt bulbs I was still pulling about the same amount of draw as I had them all checked at a place that deals with off road lighting. I had them working for a little while and then blew the 15amp fuse. Don't know if it would have blown again but I just disconnected one 55W light and they were fine. Later on, I then replaced fuse with a 20amp and it was OK. Still not enough light so I replaced all the lights on the bar with 4" Hella Optilux HID lights and what a difference. Easy wiring as you can just cut the ends of the original lights and splice to new lights. The Hella's don't even draw as much as the stock so there is no rewiring or changing anything else. It does make a huge difference. As far as the headlights I looked online and at auto parts stores and I just couldn't find a high low beam 35W or 55W bulb to replace what we have. I think Ricksrb had found then but he said he couldn't remember where I believe. Rick - did you ever remember where?

I also replaced the halogen lights on the bar with HID replacement bulbs from a conversion kit. They work out very well. Way brighter than the halogen bulbs. The only 'install' was the boxes to house the transformers (see picture) all the wiring was just unplug the old and plug in the new. The boxes are just $5 plastic junction boxes from Home Depot.

No i couldnt find replacements. Ended up putting in 50 or 55 watt singles.

so guys I left my new 55 watt halogen bulbs in the front driving lights and i changed the 7.5 fuse to a 10 considering most offroad lights run a ten amp fuse. Brought it to an aftermarket shop in the area that does steros and some 4x4 stuff they said should be fine after they looked at it also had my buddy whos an electricial check it out he said should be good. well i used them sat night fro about an hr and had no issues so i think I am good just wanted to give an update thats all

      Hello, All!  I've decided to replace the traction batteries in my 2018 Sector E1 with a 48V Lithium set. They may be expensive, but I figure the Discovery Dry Cell are, too. I am not looking for the max driving range, as I have never received near the brochured range to begin with, but a good mix of charge/ get work done/ charge is what I am expecting.
      I have settled on the 48V EAGL kit from bigbattery dot com. Each battery pack provides 30Ah. The kit ships with a charger, as well. The packs would be physically connected in parallel (using a busbar) to one another, maintaining the 48V voltage, but together would be able to provide the amp draw the buggy pulls when going up hill or towing a rake (rated 320 max continuous Amps). This is in comparison to the serial connection the eight 6V lead batteries. Each of the EAGL batteries looks to have its own BMS; am I correct in thinking I will have to use their included charger rather than (simply) changing the onboard charger to lithium mode? The chemistry of the pack is LiFe PO4, for what it's worth.  I haven't torn anything apart yet (to diagram), so  I am not sure how the dash will interpret the AMP draw, but the kit I am looking at includes a dash mounted charge indicator.
      If anyone has completed a similar conversion, do you have any tips? Specifically, how did you remove the original batteries, and how did you secure the new ones? I am guessing that almost any change from the stock batteries would involve at least some modifications. Any tips would be appreciated, especially things I may have failed to consider. Thanks!

      program will open in old Bud program only/ but will not go in BUDS 2 to let use program ECU problem working on has new engine/ new fuel pump/ injectors/ lines/ sensors/ crank sensor maps/ and new throttle body and injectors. machine starts runs a minute dies/ on 3 rd  try says key not recognized /we put other key in and same thing happens/wait 10 minutes, you can go again/ is there a back door in the program/ also might mention unplug temp sensor and map sensor , it will run a few minutes longer / then die again.

      "Mrs. Smith" doesn't like how loud our Sector 750 is.  On a HISUN forum someone said the same thing about his 750.  I haven't given it much thought because I've been more focused on stuff that has broken.
      So, I used my decibel meter to check ours out.  4000 RPM, Low gear, under 20 MPH . . . . 97 decibels.  That's above most ordinances, even state boat noise limits.
      AI Overview Ninety-seven (97) decibels is considered very loud and dangerous to hearing with prolonged exposure, roughly equivalent to a newspaper press, a loud nightclub, or a snowmobile. At this level, damage can occur after just 30 minutes, necessitating hearing protection

      Ive searched and cannot find any performance parts that fit my machine.
      I have a 2020 coleman ut400.
      Im looking for machined sheave kit, programmers, cdi, exhaust and intake.
      I know these are yamaha rhino clones but are they rhino 450 clones?

      I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
      Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.
