New here to the site, I don't have a Joyner but I do have a 2012 Renli 1100. I figured it was ok to post this here since they share the same drive terrain.

I live in Buckeye AZ, I got my Renli about 6mo. ago.

its suppose to be lighter the design is different the suspension is suppose to be better the welds and gussets are suppose to be imporoved this is what I was tolds was gonna be different

I've never actually seen a Joyner in person so I can't comment on how the Renli is different other than the looks.

I love the 5sp manual, it's a blast to drive and have a good time in. However the Chery 1100 is pretty low on power and disappointing somewhat IMO, I was expecting more.

When I was buying the Renli every dealer told me that they make 68whp and about 88bhp. But after talking with Silverbullet and watching a dyno video online that seems to be pretty far off, it shows them only putting down 49whp! :(

A fuel controller will bring it up pretty close to the advertised 85 HP, but the trooper is heavy. I don't know about the Renali. I beat my buddies rzr4 no problem on a flat road with stock tire and pre-fuel controller, if it were up a hill I am sure it would have been different.

Can you give me the controller settings your running? Mine seem to be way off for my Renli.

Not sure if the Renli's are running a different fuel map than the Troopers but I wouldn't think they would. Do you know if the early troopers had a different map than the new Troopers?

give me a call an i'll see if I can help dedub.

Thank you for all of your help yesterday! The Renli runs much better now than it did with the stock mapping from Dobeck.

Maybe the Joyners use a different fuel map for their chery motors than the Renli.

I'm curious, did you have to lean up the settings. The Trooper was tuned for ECO efficiency which is also what gives the stock Trooper good gas mileage. I suspect that your Renli was initially tunes for better power then the Trooper, thus richer. That would make the stock controller settings a little too rich which would pull down the power especially at mid and high rpms.

Yes, we had to pull fuel out of it. It was flooding the motor super early and could never really recover from it.

The biggest adjustments we made were with the green/blue-yellow/blue-red/blue.

To all Joyner owners. The fuel pump in the early troopers were in the wrong place. The filter was before the pump.It should be after the pump. The fuel pump pushes fuel out.The old way it had to suck out of the filter. All new Joyners have the pump in front of filter.Any body that use snorkle should use at least 3 " pipe to the roof.If you want to adjust the controller you need to get air ratio meter so you can see if the mixture is rich or lean

thats what i did with mine was use a 3 inch exhaust pipe with a k&n filter aand it alone was a great improvement no fuel programmer yet but soon real soon i wanna get my cage fixed or rebuilt first but just with the snorkel i seemed to gain some power

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

I am parting this out of ebay right now, I just picked up another project and could use the room. No I will not take less than $700 for all of it or $200 for the frame. I do not need to sell it, I will make far more parting it out but would like the extra space in the garage.
If interested I also have an 07 1000rr engine setup I would sell with the buggy for $650.
      Thanks!

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!
