I like it and definitely think it was the right choice for me. This vehicle is a true workhorse. It has plenty of power. I just plowed 13" of snow with it and was very surprised how much power and traction it maintained while pushing snow. Locking the differential allows you to plow very slowly without fear of losing momentum. Honestly, my only complaint is the loudness of the engine and exhaust. It's a loud diesel. Especially while driving full throttle. The reason I got the Kioti instead of the Kubota is that the Kubota only had a top speed of 25mph. The Kioti will go 35mph. Might not seem like much but when driving on roads, it makes a difference.

That’s great CSM.  You must have the K9?  What type of plow did you get, was it hired to install?  I have 2200PS, and after the first year of warranty problems, I like mine too.  Mine tops out at about 24-25 mph, but I don’t run it that fast.  It’s too loud.  I don’t have a plow, but I’m thinking of getting one.  I did install the skid plates, CV guards, roof, windshield and light horn set.  Sadly mine has so many problems from the get go, the dealer had it 7 of the first 12 months.

I guess you got a bad build. The only issue I've had is a coolant leak due to a loose hose clamp. No other issues so far. The plow is a sno-way 6' straight blade. Power up/down and side to side. Really nice feature that the sno-way offers that I haven't seen any of the others offer is a power down mode. Most plows are floating or gravity down but this one has a feature that pushes about 300lbs of pressure down to scrape to the asphalt the first pass.

Any Kioti owners out there know of any websites or companies that offer aftermarket performance parts for the 24hp diesel?

Resending this for members that may have insight and haven't seen my first request.

Thanks again for any input

I have not found much, other than mirrors on Amazon, as aftermarket for my Kioti, 2200PS

Funny you mention that. I purchased the factory mirrors from Kioti. Well while plowing close to Arborvitaes the passenger mirror broke off. Turns out the only thing holding it on was a bolt just countersunk in the plastic mold. Terrible design! So I replaced the mirror part with Amazon purchased cheap UTV mirrors. They look and work better then the much more expensive factory mirrors. If interested I can upload a pic.

I own the Kioti K-9 2440. I purchased it back during the pandemic when Deere and Kubota could not be found in inventory. I previously owned a 2012 John Deere 855 D and ran it for 10 plus years on a commercial poultry operation 7 days per week. It had over 5500 hours on it when I sold it to an employee and purchased the Kioti. The K-9 has not been a reliable unit. With only 750 hours logged, it's spent over 3 months at the dealership for miscellaneous repairs, mostly clutch and drive-line issues. The diesel engine has been great. It's now down again. The primary CVT clutch separated. I carried it back to the dealership and they quoted me a repair estimate of $2,290 to replace the primary and the belt which is only about 6 months old. Declined his offer and retrieved the unit from the dealership. Today, I finally had the time to pop the primary clutch off and discovered the back side of the pulley completely separated from the clutch assembly. I'm now looking a better clutch option. Obviously, the OEM won't cut the mustard. I've contacted Mother Clutches. Hopefully, they have an aftermarket that will be a little more durable.

Harvey, thank you for posting. It's very helpful to the rest of us Kioti K9 owners. I am definitely interested in hearing about your clutch upgrade. I'm hopeful you find a suitable better replacement.

I have looked at about every aftermarket UTV/ATV dealer in the US. As of today no one carries an aftermarket clutch for the Kioti. The only option I've found is the dealership. They quoted me an estimate of $2290.00 to replace mine. I brought it back to my farm and disassembled it myself in about 40 minutes. The dealer tries to make it sound like its "rocket science". The CVT technology is 70 years old and was used on farm equipment back in the 1950's. The clutch is just a shody made Chinese clone. I'm still looking.

I have a Kioti K9 and installed larger (taller) tires to get better traction on steep hills and in the mud.  They work great, I can creep up almost anything and love them but now I can no longer use high range and would actually like it geared a little lower even in low range.  I have over 300 hours on the tires and CVT belt with no issues but still would like to change the gearing a tad to give me back the option of high and low range.  I’m getting ready to change the CVT belt and thought there might be something I could do while I have it apart.  Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

It seems like there are very few aftermarket options for these Kioti K9s. I guess there is not enough in circulation. I've contacted Mike S from EPI Performance and he said they don't make clutches for the Kioti because they never had a demand for them. Good Luck trying to find an option.

Please keep us posted if you find something.

I recently purchased a 2019 or 2020 (no manual) Massimo 400S Buck Series UTV.  It ran fine for a couple days but the low battery light was flashing while it drove.  It then died in the field one day and I was able to jump the battery and get it rolling enough to get back to the barn.  It started both times I turned the key for a couple days after and when driven died 10 minutes later in the driveway.  Even after jumping it had no juice, but with the key out of the ignition it kept trying to start, a quick look on the Google machine and it suggested starter solenoid or ignition switch was the culprit.  Fair enough, let's just order a replacement solenoid, right?  No way Jose....the pin connector on the UTV is a 2-pin white plastic connector and the part received is a 4 pin.  How do I swap that and make it work?  Can I even?  Where do I find correct parts in the future?

I have been searching and can't find much info on these units. Pretty surprising as every other thing I own I find a lot of info on. Researching for tech info and such it's like no one owns any of these yet I see them everywhere.

I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.
