which model HiSun do you have?

The following may or may not work

I've done this before:

Cut off the plugs (should be male and female) of The utvs connector, and strip the wire, install crimp connectors. Do the same for the Light connector.

I usually use this type, https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-GO-05-Terminals-Connectors-Circuit/dp/B00SUTYYS2/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=quick+connectors+electrical&qid=1572137472&sprefix=quick+connectors&sr=8-5

any hardware store should have them.

I have the Sector 750. I guess my problem is I don’t know which wires lead to this switch? I pulled the switch and it’s fully wired into the wiring harness but where  it leads to I havn’t figured out. There is one  plug dangling under  the plastic near the fuse box  with a double wire going to it..

I acquired an older HISUN BIG BUCK 500 that hasn't run in years.  Little elbow grease and she's running.  I have a few more parts to switch out but when revving the engine over 4K the r light starts blinking.  After googling and seeing other people I replaced the rev limit switch under the air box and found the same issue.  I traced the green and white stripe wire back to the computer module and found no breaks in the wire and cleaned the connectors.  Still same issue.  I then cut the wire right at the plug and grounded it directly to the battery.  I can now rev over 4k rpm however the light still blinks and when in reverse the light no longer lights up.  Anyone else run into this?  Can R light blinking mean something else.....HELP, what am i missing?????

Can anyone tell me if their MSU 500 or 700 fuel pump and injector cycle when you turn the key on? This will help me rule out the Crank Position Sensor as a problem.
I just bought this non-running and the service manual is not much help.
      Thanks

I have a Coleman (Hisun 700 engine) vintage 2014 model. It is my beater for around my acreage so it gets very little use. Have a much nicer ride for going on road and trail runs. Anyway, this year I notice at startup with a cold engine the high temp warning light comes on right away and does not go off. Engine does not seem to overheat but the radiator fan never seems to come on-but may not be running it long and hard enough for that to happen.
Any ideas why the engine high temp warning light would come on and stay lit with the engine cold?
