Getting some work done on my sector 550 at a dealer, having issues with some parts. Dealer has tried, i have tryed, its been a month and hisun customer support has not emailed or called either one of us back.

Meantime my sector is sitting torn apart in the shop collecting dust. Apparently hisun doesnt give a ratsazz about their customers, anyone else having the same problem getting ahold of them? Sick of this crap.

Last month there was a management change in the customer support and service section. Third time in two years! They do not seem to recover very well after each change. Document all contacts with Hisun and keep at them, do not give up. Also fill out a customer contact form about any issues if you have not already done so. If you have a contact via e-mail keep asking them for a response. Do Not Give Up!

I have spent 28 months so far trying to get problems solved, changed models and have a new issue for past 2 months. I Will NOT Give UP!  It's a pain in the ass, but they need to step-up their game if they want build a business like the big boys.

I hate to be the barer of bad news but you are beating a dead horse..I fought with Hisun and Massimo from the first day i owned it..They refused to honor warrenty , and laughed when i threatendd legal action..I tried bbb , consumer protection , attorney general..got no where..these people are untouchable..you will get nothing from them..find a local mechanic and pay cash..that was my solution..6 different breakdowns in first 6 months...I learned my lesson...only buy from a local actual orv dealer that you can sue if he screws you

I have to disagree about beating a dead horse. Being persistent, polite, patient and non-threatening does pay-off. I have posted in the past on some of the issues I was dealing with, my list of problems was long and ever evolving, but they all were addressed up until the last one witch they said they were unable to repair After that Hisun took a different approach and I ended up with a new and different model. Have one problem with the new one but am working to get it resolved. Don't expect anything much to happen around the holidays but things will get resolved in the end. I do not really see a point in going to Honda, Kawasaki or another brand. They all cost much more comparably equipped and if there is no local dealer for service you have gained nothing. I am wondering why Hisun did not send a Road service Tech to address the issues you that you are dealing with, that's what those guys deal with.

When mine broke on first day, i callded all three so called authorized repair shops..ALL three said they would not work on it unless I paid cash because Hisun and Massimo had stiffed them on multiple warrenty claims .Never paid one cent..Not even parts..  so color me skeptical on op getting everything fixed free

what did you buy and where did you but it from? I bought mine from a local Hisun dealer, he said they were slow to authorize repairs but they always did. They would send a road service tech out if the dealer had a problem fixing it. A manufacturer will not stiff a dealer on legitimate claims without risking the loss of its dealerships.

I bought mine brand new from Tractor Supply..they gabe me 3 servicecenters.

I told you what they said...cash only..called TS bavk, they immediately passed the buck .Massimo in Dallas laughed at me..said it wouldnt be the 1sr lawsuit.. and Hisun said they would not warrenty that motor because it had so manyclaims  on them..it was the first day i owned it..thats why I said only buy from full dealer so you can sue them.  Warrenty is worthless ..IT BROKE ON FIRST FING DAY!  I spent thousands in repairs in 1st 6 months.  So good luck .

You haven't mentioned what you bought, when you bought it or what the problems where. Tractor supply is just a big box store like Lowes. No real service department for things they sell. What state are they in? A states AG for consumer protection should be able to deal with any issues that might fall under a Lemon Law at no cost to you. Hisun and Massimo are Not the same manufacturer. They separated ways some years back, lots of common DNA, but different companies now.

I said above that BBB ,CPA ,AND AG  were no help..6 different issues with it st a rting on day one..TS had 3 service shops listed.

None would touch it unless I paid cash..They had several warrenty repairs that were never paid by mfgr..Breakdowns continued for months..All out of pocket..HISUN  and Massimo in Dallas office  are rip off artists

I think I'd have just hauled it back to TSC on day one when if failed, and dumped in in front of their entrance with a "TSC JUNK WARNING" sign on it. When the manager came out I'd get my money back, take my sign down,  and happily move it behind the store for him.   Although its too late, initially TSC can't really hide from being the seller, they should have offered a refund on a new machine that didn't run properly.

Just an opinion here.

It was a new MSU 500 from TS 1 mile from my house in LA..And state ags will not get your money back...THAT is a myth..You must hire attny on your dime andd sue in civil court..They are skilled at Ts, Massimo at delaying and avoiding suits from another state..you will just spend more money on a worthless UTV..dont believe me?  Buy one yourself

1st buy from a reputable dealer w their own service dept. I own a dealership in DFW and when someone buys from us we take care of legitimate warranty work regardless of hisun pre approval and we pre delivery inspection before we accept from hisun and then our mechanic does a full inspection before it is ever offered for sale,  BUT if you bought box store to save a couple bucks ( you don't really as our units have far more options standard but some people only think $ 500 cheaper) they are never inspected just dropped off a truck to sit till you buy it. Box stores offer no service either - NONE! we are an authorized service center but we don't wait for hisun to approve your  work if you didnt buy from us, we get it done BUT you pay for the work upfront and get reimbursed what we get when we get it and no more. So buy from a GOOD DEALER and you will get taken care of if needed without a wait for warranty approval. Plus we have numerous sources for new parts besides hisun older parts if necessary off salvage units we buy. As for massimo/ hisun as a person replied in dec 2025, hisun hasn't built Massimo branded units in many years as I inderstand because of massimo failure to handle their own customer issues on their rebranded product. Matches what you said about massimo issue you had, but massimo is the distributor and accepts that responsibility. Bad Boy UTV current does same w Hisun but they are Bad Boys units and BB  responsibility. Hisun takes care of hisun branded product. Additional hisun use to be imported by a distributor in US much like massimo but Hisun factory took it back from distributor due to service and bad reputation problems with that distributor. Now Hisun is hisun owned and making big push to build US market and take care of customers. I call the head of Hisun US and he always answers or calls back promptly and is very motivated to help if we have an issue. If we cant find or fix something they will send head factory service person out to our shop to help. As for bad reviews, most people only do a review if unhappy so they tend to be higher. Also many never even owned one and post bad comments because it is Chinese, but truth is many parts and components for all brands are made or built in China. Finally, go to Facebook group for Hisun. Tons of happy long term satisfied owners. The 400 model has been around for ever, is almost just like a mule and people have owned and run them for years and love them and it's the base cheapest model. Finally all brands gave problems on some units. A friend had a can fully enclosed H and A. O paid over 40k and problems from day 1 and finally forced can to buy it back! Years ago I had Polaris unit. Would just die a refuse to restart for hours or days. Polaris never was able to fix it. Someone stole it from my farm  and didn't even realize it was broke down again sitting there Ha! Long but hope all this helps. You can find us on hisun dealer list if anyone wants to reach out for anything. Glad to try and help out if we can.

You clearly said. You pay for work up front..then IF.  Hisun pays you give it back...HISUN NEVER PAYS. ..so how is that different from my situation???  Tractor supply didnt build it , massimo/hisun did right there in Dallas..They are still junk..

Found your post from 2018 when you replaced the cylinder head and gasket because it overheated! Long time ago JB to still be complaining about Your issues. CWD stated that he charged his NON customers for repairs and would then reimburse if Hisun paid for the repairs. He did not say he charged his own customers. Please read the comments completely before responding in a non constructive fashion, You have been beating a dead horse long enough I think, it's time to let it go.

Over 6 months now still sitting in the shop torn apart, still no customer support, no returned phone calls or emails, no parts. hisun has zero concern for people that spent hard earned money on the junk they sell.

Posted

What method did you use to contact them? The dealer should have a direct number for dealers only. Sounds like the dealer isn't trying very hard to satisfy his customer.

Just what is wrong with the 550?

So its been awhile, I should move on and accept the screwing i got?? Really...thats what you do? I call BS  on that. A rip off does not put that money back in my pocket after enough time passes. I should not warn others of the poor quality and non existent warrenty and service? Thats your advice?   Take your head out and get some air

I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!

Haven't posted in a while since solving the excessive cabin noise issue, so I thought I would share a few upgrades to my Sector... Realize that this is driven daily on the street, so some of the mods are to make it more streetworthy.

      Locking gas door.

      Rear view mirror.

Modified windshield for better airflow in cabin.

Lowered and modified headrest bar for improved rear view.  Tailgate protector.

      Folding armrests.

Overhead utility rack.  Keeps the interior cooler and dryer, too!

      Folding rear seats.

      Dust cover and seat protector.
If anyone wants links to the rear view mirror, seats, or arrests, let me know and I will post.  But know that everything requires some level of fabrication.  The utility rack was all custom built.  Cheers!

I just purchased a 2023 Honda Pioneer a couple of weeks ago and had the hard roof and a front Honda Pioneer windshield installed at the shop before taking ownership. As things are drying up here in NC, the grass and dust are beginning to fly right through the back of the cab while driving. I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations on rear windshields, dust panels, or mesh screens to help stop this?
      Thanks a lot!
