What weight oil would you suggest up in the north country in sub 0 weather. I had all my oil blow out the vapor tank I am guessing it was to thick to drain back to the oil pan.

I would make shure the tank is clean and no restrictions, makesure the drane back hose is not kinked, also make sure the crank case pcv valve is working and the hose are hooked up. If its real cold 10-30 should work fine, 15-40 if you let it warm up good before driving.

15-40 is what I have or had in it now its all over the floor of my garage. I think I will go with synthetic I was going to anyway just wanted to get through the first few changes first. I will also go with synthetic gear lube.

I am afraid you have something else going on. Usually if your oil is too thick you will blow the oil filter off. I have run 50 weight kendall in the race cars, you just have to let them warm up. You are either getting alot of blow-by or you have some sort of blockage or oil leak, if oil is coming out off the canistar it is not from too much oil preasure. You have something else going on. If the crank case is not able to breath or release preasure (not oil preasure) it will start get air preasure in the block and start pushing out where ever it can. Make sure you crank case is ventalating.

I changed my oil to Mobil 1 10w30. It is not blowing oil now. It seams to be venting just fine. When it happened i was running only about 10 minutes I drove it about 30 on Tuesday and it was just fine no oil blowing out any were. Hopefully this will take care of it but I will keep a close eye on it.

Try starting the engine with the oil cap off, see if it is puffing or smoking out the fill spout. That will let you know if you are getting alot of crankcase preasure. You only have to do this with the engine idiling.

I just ran my engine with the oil cap off, I could fell a even pulse coming out, no smoke at all, when i covered it with my hand i got a slight film of oil on my hand with very little or no preasure build up. Hope this helps you out. There should be a vacum line coming of the intake with a pcv valve to keep preasure out of your crank case.

About the same happened to me when I pulled the breather filter off, I figured that maybe the oil mist was collecting on the filter and with the weight of the chrome cover, maybe the oil was running out instead of back into the separator. So I took a coke bottle and heated it up so it shrunk down to seal around the filter to make a damn so the oil had to go back in, instead of out. So far so good, I also put a hose back on that was loose, the one from the valve cover to the intake manifold.

For clarity, the cap i pulled off was the cap on the engine for putting oil in.

Understood! True, the two opening tie together, I was seeing the same as you saw at the breather filter which is the only out to the atmosphere for vapors in the engine,

Kinarfi.

I just purchased a 2023 Honda Pioneer a couple of weeks ago and had the hard roof and a front Honda Pioneer windshield installed at the shop before taking ownership. As things are drying up here in NC, the grass and dust are beginning to fly right through the back of the cab while driving. I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations on rear windshields, dust panels, or mesh screens to help stop this?
      Thanks a lot!

We purchased this UTV less than 60 days ago and now I am having issues with drained battery. Used UTV for about an hour then stopped and when I went to start back up my battery was to low to start it. Jumped it and it started right up and ran fine back home. Tested charging and it’s not charging while running. Can it be anything other than the stater??? Can I look for something that I can fix Quik or does it have to go to the authorized service center to stay under warranty? It will take some time to get it in and out of service

DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM HISUN Period! I had the axis 700 for 2 months when a rat or squirrel ate both wiring harnesses. (Main & ECM)Wanna know why? Because the manufacture of these things in their infinite wisdom use either, a soybean oil or a peanut oil to run the wires through the the wire loom. Hmmm i wonder why they would be inclined to eat the wires. So now I have $10K machine that I've only had for 2 months when all this happened and they will not warranty it at all. It is going to cost me $800 to $1000 to get this fixed. Here is a link to a video showing where we took our Hisun notice how many are there:

So counting mine, there are 16 of Hisun Axis on the lot that i took in for authorized dealer, with the exact same problem, plus other troubles that the mechanic explained to me. This particular place told me they are not going to work on them anymore. I will be posting this in as many places as possible to reach the masses. I hope its worth Hisun!
