Think I am going to try and make it!

Update, Just checked calendar and WE ARE GOING!

rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

might be a good chance for you to pick up replacement fenders and hood for your fading ones. Before they closed i had ordered all new replacements just to have as spares because they quoted me a price of less then 150.00 for all i needed for my T-4 including the rocker panels,my luck though they never sent them even though I had given them credit card info(they never charged me either)

My shopping list is as follows,

Front & Rear Diffs

Front & Rear axles

Trans

ECU

Brake Pads

Clutch & Throw-out bearing

Sensors

Spare Parts Frame with swing arms

Shocks

If anyone knows how to tell the Trooper part from the rest, please share the info.

Also if anyone else is going, lets Talk. Stupid to drive the price up on each other.

I will have a trailer there to haul if someone else from Southern AZ goes.

Thanks but if I buy anything it will be a deal or they can keep it.

If parts go high I will be modifying what I have. Example is if I can't get an axle cheap, I will rebuild mine. Luckily I don't have to live by just Remove & Replace.

We actually enjoy the warm/hot weather, Main reason we head South into Mexico in the winter. We have not been in weather above 105 for a couple of years so will see if it is too hot for us. Was in 104 the other day and no problem.

Went to the liquidation auction on Wensday in Phoenix. Rocmoc showed up too. Talked with Casey and Jeff from the new distributer and some other dealers too along with individual owners hoping to find parts. There was a lot of stuff. Had thoughts like Rocmoc of seeing if there was any good bargains on anything I could maybe use or possible replacement parts. Problem was that everything was in lots that were way too large. Couldn't see buying 200 caliper brakes to have an extra few as backups. Stuff went very cheap. I saw 200 shifter cables go for $75. I bid $80 but the auctioneer said sold just as he looked at me. The bigger buyer would have just kept going anyway. I bid on a few other things but found that the big buyers would just outbid me and they would always win the bid when a smaller bidder stopped biding. Bid on canves enclousures, must have been 200 or 300 of them, all one lot. As fast as I bid, one of the big buyers would instantly ups me $50. I stopped at $600 and they sold for $650. It was obvious that he was ready to keep going without hesitation. Now I'm sorry I didn't go to at least $2000 or more. I might have scared him off but I dodn't think so. Afterwords I looked closer at it and figured that if I sold a dozen or so at half price, I could have paid for the whole batch and everything else would have been profit. If I was younger I wouldn't have hesitated but at 65, I just don't want to get too heavily involved with enterprising any more. If they would have broken the lots up into smaller quanities they could have done much better. They also split up the auction in the afternoon using two auctioneers. That essentially cut my shopping list in half because you could only be at one end of the building at any one time and you had to be able to show your bid card to bid and they only gave you one. People were runing back and forth from one auctioneer to the other trying to catch everything soon they all but gave up the chase. Gosh, just run the auction from 8am to 8pm with one auctioneer and a few brakes instead of from 10am to 4pm with two auctioneers. Go figure. Glad I'm retired, just don't understant this new way of doing business. On another note, Casey from JMC motors said they made over 300 improvement changes to the line since Team Joyner closed shop. He also said that they are looking for the Trooper in 2011 to come with a low granny gear range for rock crawling. It is allready in the works, just not ready yet. Now if we can get them to put in a 1600cc engine with that and some better suspension, I will be in a class of it's own and unbeatable. Go Casey and Jeff I'm behind you.

Was Jeff and Casey or someone else from JMC doing any bidding? Casey had told me before they were trying to get some of the parts that went back to the bank.

Yes, both Casey and Jeff were biding.

I have a 2007 Joyner 1100 sand viper and  before it even get's to where the thermostat opens up the oil pressure get's so low I have to shut it down. What could fix this ? I thought about adding an oil cooler with fan, thicker oil, or removing the thermostat. Any advice?

2004 250DL DIRT DEVIL. Hey y’all, I already know this is a long shot. But I am looking for a the “prick gear” assembly that makes reverse work for my external reverse gearbox. OEM PN D250.08.103 and its assembly. I bought the kart as a basket case, but I saw that the reverse box was present so I was optimistic.  Upon starting working on the buggy I realized there was a block off plate in plate of there the normal gear would be. If my understanding is correct that means the transmission no longer has reverse gear. I figured it’s just a standard bevel gear and I could probably find a gear to make work, but I don’t want to spend the time making all the other housing parts to shim the gear perfectly. Has anyone spare parts, or figured out an aftermarket solution from McMaster? I already know it’ll be a challenge to get this box to be happy again, but figured I would ask

      Hi All,
I have a 14 mile round trip on level roads to reach the property where I work with my 2025 Amp Crew Ranch (purchased, April 2026).  That 14 mile round trip uses 60% of the battery as shown on the gage for a calculated range of 23.3 miles versus an advertised “up to 50 miles” range.  A mile or two working on the property gets me a flashing gage and warning beeping by the time I get home.  The dealer was good to work with and even with a new battery (yesterday) the results were about the same, although there seemed to be more power and a higher top speed.  I own a Mach-e Mustang so I am familiar with how various conditions affect range, but less than 50% of advertised range just seems like there has to be something out of whack.
Now I’m wondering if there is a controller and/or software issue affecting the range and performance.  At various points the Amp seems to lose power for no reason and then has trouble maintaining speed.  Any ideas?
Also, twice now, the brakes seem to have not released fully.  After noticing reduced speed, I stopped and check the rotors and wheel…..HOT!  So, now every time I feel less power, I stopped to cycle the brakes and check the temperature.  Very annoying.  Are there any adjustments to be had?
And yes, as noted in another post, sometimes the switching from forward to reverse or high to low speed feels sluggish or balky.
Lastly, while an electric vehicle powertrain is quiet, my Amp was horrible from a road noise and vibration standpoint.  This was easily fixed by locating panels vibrating on other panels or the frame (even the cup holders were vibrating) and installing felt adhesive pads at the contact points (seat to frame, windshield to frame, fenders to frame, etc.).  This is a $10 and 1/2 hour fix that makes a significant improvement in the driver/passenger experience.  Tire noise, yes, but that’s because of the knobby tread.
I’m trying hard to like my Amp and would appreciate any tips, advice or solutions.

Hi everyone and I hope that is not a too forward questions for us newbies.
My husband and I are ready (next Spring) to open our newly developed nudist campground in Iowa and we are now looking for interesting activities to host.
Don't worry we are not going to try and sell you a membership because as of 2 weeks ago all of our 50 campsites are sold out for the 2024 season.
It was my job to sell site and now that is complete i am looking for interesting actives host for weekend.
We have 300 acres of woods, grassland, swamps and 2 small ponds/lakes and dozens of miles of riding trails.
we have gotten county approval for the complete 300 acres to be clothing optional.
We think we have a great spot for a weekend or several day ATV / mudder event.
Clothing would be optional for all participants and plenty of room for overnight camping and outdoor group showers.
Now we are looking to you pro  ATV riders to let us know if you think your group of people would fit in with ours.
Feel free to ask anything you would like to get a better idea of what we offer.
