I wonder how many Troopers have been sold in the U.S. and if anyone on this forum would know? Next time I talk to Joyner USA I will ask, but I wonder with all the changeover there if they know???

I know the members on this site equal just a fraction of the owners.

I would like to get these numbers because there are a few performance shops I would like to pitch the 1100cc motor to. BUT, if they can't make any money then they just wouldn't waste their time. If we can create the demand the supply will follow. Now I don't want to bag on any of the aftermarket support out there we currently have, but none of them have really dug into the potential of the motor (like Lenny has).

I can only imagine how many buggys are running the 1100cc powerplant worldwide.

Does anyone know any numbers?

Other brands use the motor too. I heard about 300 troopers being out there. Jarrad from unlimited motor sports in Texas said that they sold somkething like 325 in all models combined of Joyners them selves.

Silverbullet

We are going to the extreme with this Trooper. We are going to document each stage of the build. It will take a littel time for each stage.Lennys Trooper would cost about 10,000 to build. We are going to try a few new things and see how it works. We will start on it soon and will post the stock H/P on the Dyno.

On mine, the dyno charts of my engine shows 121 HP at 5700 rpms. That's where I have the rev limiter set .However the hp line is still going up with no signs of rolling over yet. That tells me that if a stronger crank, rods and pistons were installed that this little engine might put out maybe like 175 hp being allowed to rev higher. If this engine were allowed to rev say 8500 rpms who knows. Running in 3rd gear on tight trails, I can spin it out if I get on it half way thru the turn. The rear wheels will even start to slide sideways in 4th but not enough to spin it out. This is down in the 2000 rpm range in 4th. Silverbullets engine should be interesting.

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

Parting out a rolled Sand viper 1100. I will list some of the parts I have, otherwise ask me if there is something specific you are looking for. I am selling everything I have for $800. I am located near Glenwood Springs CO.

      Wheels
      Tires
      Engine
      Transmission
      Axles

Things I have....These all came off of the running engine. I have video of it running if anyone needs to verify that.
      Throttle Body $90
      Starter $150
      Alternator $150
      Fuel rail, injectors, fpr $100

I have a box full of misc bolts, nuts, etc.
I will sell the Chassis or Frame alone for $200. The chassis is in pretty good shape, needs some cage repair and 2 areas straightened where control arms mount. If anyone had an automotive frame machine it would take a few hours.
      That would include....
Brake calipers, lines, pedal, master cyl, E brake assy,
      Steering shaft, wheel
      Ignition switch, key
      Light bar frame, 2 lights

      Clutch master, pedal
I am sure I am forgetting something.
I am parting this out of ebay right now, I just picked up another project and could use the room. No I will not take less than $700 for all of it or $200 for the frame. I do not need to sell it, I will make far more parting it out but would like the extra space in the garage.
If interested I also have an 07 1000rr engine setup I would sell with the buggy for $650.
      Thanks!

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!
