Hello, I have a 2002 Mule 3010 with 1759 hours on it.  I got it with about 1700 hours from a neighbor and it had been serviced regularly.  It almost abruptly lost all power. Still driveable however, barely moves and ain't going up hills.  Immediately I did the following:

-air filter change, oil change, spark plug change, fuel filter change, checked fuel, added fuel treatment.

when I depress the accelerator pedal it does not throttle up to its max.  I checked the throttle rigging and it appeared good.  I am able to rev it up at the carbureator.  I inspected the linkage and it appeared that the governor spring was worn because it was not holding the throttle.  Ordered a spring and changed it but no worky still.  It appears to run up and then back off.  Any ideas? Am I making sense.  I have gone through countless forums and can not find a similar problem.

i have the same exact problem as ArkMule with my 2005 3010.    i can revive it up by manually handling linkage at engine, but using the pedal it was obtain any power or enough rpm.   flushed fuel, replaced filter, and plugs.   someone said it could be the fuel pump.   i need to check the valve clearance and adjust.   i am baffled as to why it seems to gain power by using the throttle linkage.     any ideas would greatly be appreciated.       john

are you sure the throttle cable isn't broke?  over time they do need to be adjusted to compensate for wear.

^^^ this, make certain that "flooring" the accelerator pedal causes the same linkage motion  at the carburettor,  as does manipulating the linkage directly at the carburettor. If not then suspect the throttle cable and/or some deformation or blockage in the pedal mechanism...

Try taking the bolt out of the governer arm at the pivot point. I run mine without the gov hooked up, more speed, kinda risky, I put a tach on it and watch my Rs.

I realize this part is discontinued but im trying to find this exhaust pipe fir my dads 550.  His brother who has since passed bought this mule for my dad who is now 90 and he is trying to fix everything on it.  I'm willing to take a used one.  A new one would be great if someone still had in stock.  I'll take anything as long as it is in workable condition.   If anyone has any ideas for me im open to hearing them.  Thank you so much.

Hello. I have a 2016 Massimo MSU 500. I was putting on a lightbar and i screwed up and didn't disconnect the battery so when i was taking of the positive cable to put on the power from the lightbar it sparked and now the utv has no power. I turn the key over and all i hear is a chirp. No lights or anything. Everything that comes from the battery to the jumper box up by the battery shows voltage but anything coming out does not such as to the winch or anything like that

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!

Just purchased this Old Hisun and it included with a box with a brand new EPS kit. I found YouTube University installation videos and it looks doabke, but maybe the kit is made for newer models because mine doesn't have any extra open plug and play wires I see in the videos that woukd allow me to seamlessly connect the EPS wiring harness too. Has anyone ever retrofitted an EPS kit to a 16 year old model?
Thank you for any usable input offered.
      Sincerely,
      Surfalia
