Is this something that could be solved by buckling the belt behind the driver? I just hate all the lawsuit driven safety measures. My 2005 mule goes 25 mph in high gear. Still has a seat belt though, with the original rubber band on it. Rarely goes over 15 mph. Never saw the need. The good news is, that most useless safety measures can be overridden pretty easily. Typically just a simple sensor, that can be overridden by a jumper wire. Least ways that's how it works on my rider mowers.  It all depends on what the manufacturer has put in, and how serious they are with it.

What's the big deal with using the seat belt?  We have to buckle up everyday in the car.  Seen too many accidents not to wear mine.  It's an individual's choice

On mine, the accelerator limiter is tied to the actual buckle. When a seat belt (or extender wink wink) is plugged into the buckle attached to the UTV, it acts as if the seat buckle is connected.  Not too sure they are all that way, however if you really dont want to use the safety equipment (not recommended), this would be a work around as the extender can stay plugged in all the time. And, if you have a revelation about using the safety gear, (All The Gear All The Time ATGATT)you can just attach your seat belt to the extender.

looking around and cannot find and Stampede motors, the Havoc looks to directly bolt in, with exception of the larger displacment. has anyone looked into this further? seems to be a better option considering stampede engines are on backorder.

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!

      View File Hisun/Axis seatbelt defeat/bypass
This file is for using a laser cutter to cut a dummy seatbelt tongue to override the seatbelt warning and speed limiter. I used 3mm thick acrylic. My laser is an XTool, so I included the .xcs file for that brands software, but also included a generic vector file .svg. Probably want to verify the dimensions translated properly for your cutter before using. My UTV is an Axis E1, which is basically a rebranded Hisun Sector E1, and I'm also guessing that all the Hisuns probably use a common seatbelt anyway.
Use only where appropriate and at your own risk.
