I just bought a new buck 400x golf and just signed up to this forum. Lots of good info and glad to be here.

I took off seat to see the engine and noticed a black circular pipe just sitting exposed  leading to the engine bay. As well as a rectangular pipe coming off crank case and possibly even an electrical harness or two with nothing obvious to plug them into?

Does anyone have the buck 400x golf and take a picture or look in their engine bay and let me know if this is normal or if there is something missing on my cart.

I reached out to massimo and let them know that it was unusable if this is actually an important missing part it probably shouldn't be driven, they said I should hear back in 3-5 days but that they are very busy. I figure if one of you has one you can take a look for me and I don't have to wait around on massimo to answer me on what a normal engine bay looks like.

Thanks for your help,

Could the large open tube possibly be the air intake?

Massimo called me back today, they said the circular black tube IS the intake tube so you were correct!

Also the rectangular tube coming from crank case is a normal breather tube so all is normal and my cart is running great as of now.

So my post and worries were for nothing, atleast the next noob can see this.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. Been kinda busy lately. I hope you have lots of trouble free hours with your Massimo. Mine only has 14 hours. I need a trailer to tow it with.

Glad that you heard from the tech. I've used their techs for questions. They have been good about getting back to me, as soon as they can.

Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.
      New starter solenoid....check
      New Voltage Regulator...check.
Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC
Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.

I recently purchased a 2019 or 2020 (no manual) Massimo 400S Buck Series UTV.  It ran fine for a couple days but the low battery light was flashing while it drove.  It then died in the field one day and I was able to jump the battery and get it rolling enough to get back to the barn.  It started both times I turned the key for a couple days after and when driven died 10 minutes later in the driveway.  Even after jumping it had no juice, but with the key out of the ignition it kept trying to start, a quick look on the Google machine and it suggested starter solenoid or ignition switch was the culprit.  Fair enough, let's just order a replacement solenoid, right?  No way Jose....the pin connector on the UTV is a 2-pin white plastic connector and the part received is a 4 pin.  How do I swap that and make it work?  Can I even?  Where do I find correct parts in the future?

I just purchased a Massimo MSU500 and no manual came with it so I have some questions. looking for part #'s and availability of basics like spark plug air and fuel filter. What is the valve adjustment specifications?
Is there a fuel drain? It's been sitting, low mileage but I want to drain out the old fuel and put fresh.
