I hope I was helpful to you guys.. I wish someone would have clued me in , in the beginning..   could have saved me a lot of cussing... Massimo Service Dept  was a complete joke, zero help from that useless bunch..   BUT, If these things run right , they are loads of fun once you get the factory flaws worked out!  ..

Cajun Country.. Down in the swamp , south Louisiana.. our temps run high 94-99* ............but its so humid the heat index runs 108* to 112*  right now... I got up this morning at 5AM, it was already 88* !!!  And  the MSU  still does not run hot!!!!      FULL TIME FAN BABY!  I removed the winshield on mine.. much cooler for me

No, not me. No issues with windshield.. just too hot with it on... and yeah, Cat 5 Hurricane Laura devastated a lot of area in west LA with 150-180 mph winds and a 20foot storm surge ....but I am in central LA right on coast... we got 75mph winds and 6 feet of storm surge.. not too bad.... no damage to any of my three properties ... I am having a ball with this thing now that its working... I really enjoyed pulling my buddies Kawasaki Mule out of a big mud hole after he got stuck and I didnt on the Atchafalaya River

yeah, I liked it before. it performs well, it  just was SO FREAKIN UNRELIABLE . less than 5 miles and broken , 6 straight times in the shop and Masimo Service was so horribly bad .. They actually told me they stopped using HISUN engines because they were junk and would not warrantee them .. Mine had less than 300 miles.. His exact words were....." NEVER GONNA HAPPEN"     so Imagine my response . He hung up on me .. Now with some YAMAHA parts and full time fan, its working well .. I have put 200 miles on it since repairs ... NO ISSUES AT ALL

That's interesting. Did Hisun supply engines for Yamaha, or did Yamaha supply parts to Hisun?

My engine is a Lanhai. Does the overheating happen only while being operated, or will it happen while idling? I let mine idle for a while a few days ago, it showed only 3 bars on the dash before the fan came on.

I purchased a colder thermostat and a lower fan switch to install. The thermostat is a 147 degree unit, and the switch is a 167 degree unit. I guess I'm just nervous about running without a thermostat. I've read articles on both sides of the topic. I just want to be as safe as possible.

The Hisun engine in mine is an exact CHINESE clone of the original Yamaha Rhino ..The Yamaha parts are just more expensive and apparently well worth it!  I have no idea about the Linhai engines designs .. Massimo switched to them 2 yrs ago, because HISUN had so many problems ... In fact if I could not get this thing working, I had called a ATV/UTV engine supplier to see if a remanufactured YAMAHA engine would work.. He said yes

You think China cares about that stuff?  They steal our military weapons and crafts secrets, build copies and sell them .. we do nothing.. Who knows if they paid Yamaha anything .. The Rhino UTV is exactly like my MSU .. I bet every part on it would fit ....thats a older version  rhino  below ... new MSU on right ...

Yeah, I guess so. But Yahama being the large corporation that it is, and the much smaller Massimo taking profits away from them, I just can't see Yahama looking the other way.  But it is what it is.

Well, dont count on it... look at it this way.. General Motors  owned the Airbag company in China that has killed 135 people with shrapnel from the charge going off  . And to date has had 30 million airbags recalled... Chinese built is still Chinese built .. those 10 yr old supervisors cant catch all the mistakes in the factory by the 9 year olds doing the assembly

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...

Riding out today it acted like it ran out of gas,  stalled and died and would not start.   Towed back to house,  New  plug added this past month,  plenty of oil, getting plenty of gas, battery cranks good.   Trys to kick in and starts but doesnt.   Two days prior while sitting at a idle it died.  Added gas and it started did my ranch chores with it.  But just now it stalled out cranks but will not start.   Tried to find if fault codes came up on the clock like manual says but not sure I am doing that right.  Any and all help apprecated.  Thank you

I’m getting a 700-7 every startup. I’m having to change the plug every 100 miles on 93 octane gas. I got a lower numbered plug that is supposed to burn hotter. I’m wondering why that comes up every time I start it and if it’s related? I included a picture of the code or whatever it is. I haven’t seen the code in the owners manual or the hisun shop manual I have.

I have purchased a used Supermach700 (2008), It runs great after a new choke cable but. The temp sensor on the thermostat house is unhooked and can not find where it plugs back in. The fan has been un hooked from the sensor in the rad and cant figure out how it goes back together properly.  The fan was wired to a by pass switch and i just always leave it on but would like to work it properly. I assume the sensor went bad and not changed.

      any help would be great.

      thanks

I turned off the key and then tried to start it a minute later and it would not start. I changed out the fuel filter and the injector. still nothing. if i have the injector pulled out and close to the hole the injector will spray fuel into the hole and it will run but the minute you put the injector in it will die. any idea's please
