I just started narrowing things down as suggested by many, electrical, air, fuel filters, fuel pump, oxygen sensor, then injector was last and it turned out to be culprit. Had white plastic shavings in it and was clogging the fuel flow and spray. It only had one injector! Hope this helps everyone!

I had to put a new injector in my 2019 Hisun 550 at only 250 miles. Now at almost 500 miles it started actin up again. Haven’t looked into it much yet as it just happened last night. But have heard that injectors a a big problem with these.

Hi Mick, after my first issue, mine started doing same thing, thus I pulled injector and throughly cleaned and blew it out, runs fine again. I’d suggest putting a new one in. They come with cheapo’s from China, but that’s not saying new ones are built there too but they are cheap in price. Check fuel pump assembly to make sure it has a filter to catch garbage being sucked up from gas tank. Should correct your problems. I’ve learned a lot about mine lately but it still runs great with a little maintenance!!

Welcome to the forum!

I don't know what the ethanol mix in your area is. But ethanol in the fuel can cause injector problems also. Not saying that it's the actual cause of your issue. But it's very possible. And certainly worth looking into.

I was told by mechanic that did first initial repair that these motors need  good grade fuel such as BP, Mobile Oil, Chevron, Shell etc,  plus a higher octane would improve performance greatly.

Ya I put a new pump in first and it had same pressure as the old one. Since the dealer did not know what the pressure was supposed to be. Then put new injector in n it’s been fine till bout week ago. Now acting the same way but won’t start at all now. Gonna look into it more tonight. Just real frustrating only having it for couple months n less then 500 miles. Plus the dealer says it be covered but they way behind n be like two hours away.  So guess we’ll see how it goes later.  And not sure of the methanol content here but have always run premium.

Personally, ( & I own one) these thing are junk! The suspension and body/ frame and steering work well but the schematic on motor are worthless! Chinese crap but I’m like you... mines a 2019 with 400 miles. 3 weeks after I bought it, it was in shop for 2 months! I’m considering switching to carburetor for mine and do away with efi. Motor runs good when it runs!

Sorry, meant to say schematic on EFI are worthless. Motor runs fine

Ya when it runs u r right, rides steers n everything great, but I think they have serious fuel issues. One thing I noticed last time I put gas in it is there was mud in the threads of the gas cap?????  If mud got there where did the water go???  Gonna mess w it here in a few. I will keep ya all posted.

Well looked into it. Have no injector pulse now.  Haven't been able to find much for wiring diagrams to look into it yet. Trying to avoid  taking back to the dealer knowing that they will have it for a while. Plus little faith in them since last time I had the problem with it I was talking with the lead mechanic there and he didn't even know what the fuel pressure was supposed to be or even all the injector problems that these machines have.  Sure I will end up having to take it there though.

Is it showing any fault codes?

Have no way to check codes?

I think that on most machines, it makes the clock blink a sequence, that would indicate the actual code. Or there's a code reader available, but it would have to be the generic version. The one from Hisun is very expensive, considering what it is, and how little information it provides.

It's just that your issue sounds like a crank, or cam position sensor. Or possibly the CPU itself. A fault code would provide invaluable help here.

Ok, do u know how to get the clock to blink to read the sequence? I am very familiar and experienced w these types of fuel injection system.  Also where is the diagnostic connector at?

My understanding about the blinking clock, is that it does it automatically. Whenever it encounters a fault. Fixing the problem is the only way to stop the blinking. So it sounds like it hasn't encountered a fault.

That's why I mentioned the CPU. If it were a position sensor, you would've definitely noticed, and likely mentioned the blinking clock.

I have no idea where to find the code reader port. My guess would be that it's under the dash. All that I've seen on the reader, seem to indicate that it's a Delphi type.

Do you have a service manual? One of our members has been kind enough to offer free manuals to others. I know that he was providing manuals for the Massimo. You might see if he's able to provide the one for the Hisun.

If you're interested, then hit Strike 250 with a p.m. and ask about availability.

I found a plug in port on mine under hood by radiator. Not sure if that the diagnostic port or just an adapter for power supply????

Oh well that might not be so bad. Gonna call the dealer later n see what they have to say. Like I said only had it a few months n under 500 miles. Feel I already put enough money into it

I just purchased a 2023 Honda Pioneer a couple of weeks ago and had the hard roof and a front Honda Pioneer windshield installed at the shop before taking ownership. As things are drying up here in NC, the grass and dust are beginning to fly right through the back of the cab while driving. I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations on rear windshields, dust panels, or mesh screens to help stop this?
      Thanks a lot!

I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!

"Mrs. Smith" doesn't like how loud our Sector 750 is.  On a HISUN forum someone said the same thing about his 750.  I haven't given it much thought because I've been more focused on stuff that has broken.
So, I used my decibel meter to check ours out.  4000 RPM, Low gear, under 20 MPH . . . . 97 decibels.  That's above most ordinances, even state boat noise limits.
AI Overview Ninety-seven (97) decibels is considered very loud and dangerous to hearing with prolonged exposure, roughly equivalent to a newspaper press, a loud nightclub, or a snowmobile. At this level, damage can occur after just 30 minutes, necessitating hearing protection

Can anyone please tell me or send a link as to how & where to hook up a code reader to my 2021 Hisun 500 Axis.  I have a 6 pin to a 18 pin  adaptor and the blue cord VAG KKL adaptor .Just not sure where or what to hook up to. Can I use your typical vehicle code reader or do I need to download something on a laptop or PC???

I bought this SxS brand new.  A couple of years after I bought it, I became disabled.  Thus it has only 47 miles and around 16 hours of use.  I have no need to keep the SxS.  I am in Foley, Alabama.  It is very hard for me to get in out of the Challenger.  I would like to sell the set, 2019 Challenger 400, trailer and uninstalled winch (this was bought brand new as well, someone was supposed to help this newbie install and we never got around to doing this). I want  $6500 for the whole set OBO (Serious offers only).
