  1. The stock 09 diffs did not have the upgrades. I have been careful with mine since 08 but am upgradeing the rear before the Jamboree and will do the front soon after. The problem is tolerances & alignment of the gear set in the diff. Lenny is a much bettter responder. He may not answer for a couple of days. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  2. WOW, thanks for the update. So glad you are finally able to enjoy. rocmoc n AZ/Mecico
  3. What year do you have? Is your fuel tank in the front or under the seat? The first 50 / 2008, with the tank in the front, had a clutch slave cylinder upgrade. The throw was too short and a new slave was provide by Joyner. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  4. I have a spare electric unit I will sell for $160. NEW never used!!!!! And I still have a spare one for me. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  5. Preload can stiffen the springs. I added ground cleanance via Larger Tires and took preload off the springs to soften the springs & ride. What is also inportant is the angle of the axles coming off the diffs. Mine are nearly neutral so I have max travel in both compress & extend of shock travel. Joyner, IMHO, put too much preload for ground clearance at the expense of proper shock action & CV joint health. Springs should be soft enough to cause a fair amount of sway when you dirve. You should be able to grab the rollbar from the side and lean the T2 fairly easy with your weight & pulling side to side. The sway/soft shock action keeps the wheels on the ground when going thu rough stuff and rock climbing. I still need to soften more. When I drove Lenny's T2 I noticed his is really soft much more than mine. This is where I will adj to. If the springs are too hard you will be more of a flat tracker, sliding instead of biteing into the surface. Notice how Nascar race cars have nearly NO shock action, smooth surface, and off -road racers have a ton of shock action, rough surface. You will like the 40/60 much better but you need soft springs to take advantage of the damping. Just a WAG, Wild A*s Guess, but I would go at least 40/60 in the front also. Remember you are lighter in the front requiring less spring rate. The Fox guys should know some of this stuff, my guy did when I bounce my choices off of him. Good luck. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

  9. Note how soft my damping is!!! Posting from last year. "Final setup, Rear is double shocked using the stock Joyner shocks as the spring setup with very little or no dampening. I bled ALL of the N2 pressure off of the shocks. The Fox shocks' dampening is adjusted to 35 / 55 (compression/extension). Front tire pressure is 13 1/2 lbs. The load on the springs was backed off 1 3/4" to 2" softening the load on the springs & lowering the ride height." Here is the complete posting with a lot more info from Lenny as well, http://www.utvboard....ea/page__st__20 rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  10. You want your springs soft. My valving is way softer. I will find my post on here and link of when I revalved. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  11. Mark is my toy insurance man! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  12. Not me, only thing I would need more power for is the sand and a cheaper & better route for ME would be to buy a sandrail. NOW if someone could come up with a lower FRST gear mod to be used with my 31" tires, maybe depending on price. You asked! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  13. I feel the same way showa. Will compare notes at the Jamboree!!!! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

  16. COUNT DOWN, under one month. Boy am I looking forward to this. WE always have a great time seeing everyone each year. Only three of us have been to every Jamboree; Jeff, Lenny & myself. Not going to have the trailer replacement, will be pulling my little single axle from last year. Haven't found the deal YET! Seems in AZ the trailers go for less during the summer when Dune Season is over. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  17. Which gear failed, ring gear, pinion gear or both? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  18. Lenny, I need two more of the kits besides the one we talked about doing this next week. That is a total of 3 kits for me!!!!!! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  19. Quiq, how did it fail? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  20. I won't let mine go without replacing it with a Renegade diff. If I never get the Renegade diff then my spare diffs are for when I have a breakdown. The diffs are one of the weak links but seem to last with the upgrade kit. Lenny is running a lot more power than the rest of us and his diffs have lasted, knock on wood for ya Lenny! Myself am still running my orginal diffs without problems but lots of off-road experence with spinning the wheels on different surfaces which is usually the cause of damage. Hang in there, one will show up or maybe Bedrock will contact ya or me! I made the case for the trade that the Trooper diff is easier to sale than the Renegade. Thus far two diff failures on here since my offer to trade. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  21. If you can talk Bedrock, member on this site, into taking his Renegade diff over to Lenny for verification & inspection, I would trade Bedrock a Trooper diff for it and you could buy the traded Trooper diff from him. The trade diff does not have the upgrade kit. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  22. They are exactly the same except a diff ratio pinon gear with the same issues!!!!! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  23. He has mine also, including my dirtbikes!!!! rocmoc n AZ n Mexico
