  1. My firefox has an adblocker, i don't have any issues.
  2. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is the cheapest place ive found for different aftermarket parts and accessories. of course there is always amazon, but quality can be lacking
  3. great information. thanks for sharing
  4. maybe he's the hunchback
  5. you'll have to get the axle nut off first. 1 1/16" If i remember right. the trick to getting the stuck drums off on these 550's is pb blaster,a hammer, and patience. also wouldn't hurt to open the bleeder on the back of the wheel cylinder to relieve any pressure.. spray the PBlaster between the drum and backing plate, let it sit and soak, and moderately tap around the drum, mainly focusing on the area around the cylinder... patience is KEY.
  6. update 11-26-2023 Well, over 2 years on that John Deere starter improvement relay kit and she's still starting great. No issues whatsoever.
  7. download my manual i uploaded here, will tell you everything you need to know and then some
  8. Not sure about those Relays, but if that solenoid is closing after the engine shuts off, that is most likely not an issue.
  9. If Kubota is still using the D902 engine in the RTV900, upper left corner, near the injector pump.
  10. does the fuel shutoff solenoid remain open while its dying, or is that shutting off and shutting down fuel flow when it dies?
  11. Will it stay running if you increase and sustain the RPMs?
  12. Looks like Coleman directly will be your only bet.
  13. The owners manual usually lists, locates electrical accessory plugs. If you use Kawasaki accessories for that model, they are plug and play with the wiring harness.
  14. Doors and windshield, and a street legal kit, are usually after purchase add ons. In all honesty, if you want reliable, look at what i call the Big 4, Kawasaki, Polaris, Can Am and Honda.
  15. This is why Kawasaki has a 3 year warranty. you're still within the warranty period, i'd let the dealer perform any adjustments it may need.
  16. if you have to pull the choke, your engine is not getting enough fuel. I've noticed carb problems on these 550s tend to happen quickly. the first thing i would do is remove the fuel line from the carburetor and make sure the pump pumps when you crank it over, it'll shoot out in bursts. if that looks good, i would remove the carburetor, two 10mm nuts, 10mm bowl screw, and spray out the main jet and all the air holes in the venturi with carburetor cleaner I had recurring problems with my carb since the fuel tank is a little rusty, getting rusty looking sediment build up in the bowl. i installed two filters, one before the pump and one after the pump and i have had no more issues.
  17. all you need to check to see if your starter relay is working, is to pull the trigger (signal) wire off of the starter solenoid and check to see if it has 12V with the key on in start position.
  18. exhaust glowing red is a LEAN running condition, either too much air or not enough fuel.
  19. Are you tightening the wheel/axel nut to the correct torque?
