  3. Yes, on my Kawasaki, it is ontop of the trans. I'm sure yours is the same, Sometimes they tighten with either Phillips or flat head screwdriver. Or a socket.
  4. I read something, says " The gear change 'mechanism" can overtime losen, causing trans to pop out of gear, might try to tighten.

  6. I Think i will go ahead and use break in oil. I have 1 bottle already, Motul 10W40. Go ahead an get another bottle. THANKS FOR YOUR OPINIONS. THEY ARE VALUABLE...hey, if i ever need anything custom, i'll contact you! execpt i don't have Joyner:)

  8. WELCOME! I got a Kawasaki Mule 550, 2001. And am currently re building the engine.
  9. I will definintly keep that in mind. so U use 10W30, valvoline, Right now i've been running 10w40 pennzoil in the 550

  15. Hi, i AM REBUILDING THE ENGINE ON MY KAWASAKI MULE 550, KAF300-C5. Should i use straight break in oil, or mix oil with break in oil?????
  16. Go to Babbitts Kawasaki parts house, and you should find acceseories, they also sell new and used, Kawasakis, Polaris etc...
  17. Rhinos and Landmasters are Scrap metal, and and they use old garden hoses for seals and gaskets., Best bet would be either a used Kawasaki or Polaris
  18. That crank is as about as big as my 550.

  20. My 550 is belt driven, but the 2 crankcase and trans are seperate
  21. It uses the same oil? i figured you would need gear oil for the transmission?
  22. Looks to me like the Transmission and Crankcase are one piece?
  23. Why did you have to replace the clutch?
  24. looked at it, great prices. Do they ship, or do you have to pickup, forgot to look but where are they located?
