They have pins you knock out, but there is like a little hole with a "Keeper" you might call it. do you have to use a press to press them in or what? 10. THANKS! the pic in the manual is as grainy as a bigfoot photo of it.
  11. I figured the 30 dollars would be cheap insurance against me doing it, and messing something up worse. Let the Pro's do it, Unless you REALLY know what your doing. @vaughn Ever watch "Taryl Fixes All" on youtube. Pretty hilarious!
  12. According to the start of the video, I ain't got a prayer. Thanks, @vaughn! This tuesday, I'm taking it to the machine shop. They said it would cost 25-30 dollars, PLUS! He's going to grind the valve seats some, and re assemble the head for me! http://tedsenginemachineservice.com/engine-repair/4103898 They've been there 51 Yrs!

  15. I did! He said its a defect in the cast, and he ran it through a vacuum machine thingy. Ewww, Gross. 😁

  17. 'Bout to head out the Machine shop, Hopefully they can take the guides out. If they dont work, i've been talking with Power Toys of Texas, here in Cut n Shoot. Pray for me!

  22. Yeah, My brother, and a friend of ours have used Ted's for LOOONG time. Always reasonably priced. I called and they said, he has the tools to remove/install, but since it's a small utv he might not can do it. But i have a back up company, Power Toys of Texas, they said they might could do it too. New head was 200, before shipping and tax. When im done, im taking it to our mechanic and he said he'll be more than happy to inspect my work. I could make a calendar.
  23. I contacted Our local machines shop, Ted's Engine repair, he said he's not 100% sure if he can do it, since it is a smaller head. I m gonna take it to hm tomorrow and see he can, take em out. And then what i'll do if he can take em out, i ordered a new guide (s) because they wore past the service limit (measured today), so i'll have new ones he can put in too.
  24. Nope didn't work. Scarred up part of the da#@ guide. I guess i have to shell out 150 for the new head (Repeat customer discount).....THANKS though.
