Cinda the T4 is long but it's only too long if the length makes it not capable. The T4 handles that length no worries at all with only the steering a little difficult on tight tracks. You and I both know that when you guys all meet up that you and George will show just how capable off road your beast is. Book in a back seat or two for me next year please. Cheers Mike.

Cinda, that sounds awesome and & very tempting however commitments will stop me make any additional plans for the rest of the year. Lets say as long as 4x4x454 makes the same promise, I would like to think I can get over there within the next couple of years. Great video. Not all those Jeeps where fully locked up only the last Jeep at the end so they were doing that in "not true 4wd form". However the articulation on the front end of all those Jeeps was impressive and would of helped a lot. The Jeep is wider which would also help but I think the Troopers will get through no worries at all. I'm very jealous of you guys so would like to nominate the 2nd annual Trooper Jamboree in NZ. G'day oceanjake, glad to see you finally made it over to UTV Boards. I think your find the fact that your dealer has certain spare parts is partly because of what you said but also logistics, or the cost of. I have not heard of a fuel pump failing yet but you never know. Just to give you an idea of the cost of individually importing a spare part from China to NZ which is closer and cheaper than the States. A small item less than 5 KGs = US$90 air freight, bank fees in NZ for a T/T US$12.50 and bank fees in China US$25. Even if the item cost $1 wholesale before you even cost out the retail price you have a $127.50 charge, and then another charge from Team Joyner to the Dealer. The way around this is to bulk order spare parts and ship them out to the dealers with their vehicle orders. Your plan of carrying a spare fuel pump is all good & it just might save your bacon one day. Cheers Mike

If your windscreen is acrylic don't use rain x. Kinarfi said that he used Pledge on his Air craft windscreen, it is also used on boat windscreens made of acrylic over here and is the way to go along with Gumballs answer above. Cheers Mike.

Go for a small run or medium rev the engine for 30 seconds to warm the engine up a bit and then take the radiator cap off. Leave it to idle and heat up more so the thermostat opens up. If the coolant level drops your in business just keep on topping up at the radiator not the overflow bottle. When the level stops dropping put the cap on and go for a decent blast for say 10 minutes or so turn off & leave to cool then check again and top up if needed. If the coolant level fails to drop at all back at stage one then this is not going to work. I've only done this before on a car as per my mechanics advice & it worked fine. Good luck. Cheers Mike.

EVR JR, I measured again and the highest point without the light bar is the spare tire mount without the spare tire and this time I got 6/1 on 27s so you might just scrape in. In the manual it quotes the height at 1990mm which is 6/6 & a half so that would be with the light bar Cheers Mike

Lenny, that dealer deserves a mention. In fact we should have a thumbs up section for people who help others including dealers like JGS UTVS who helped gumball recently with the 4wd actuator. It would be an incentive for dealers over a period of time to stand out as one of the good guys that can be trusted for all future UTV buyers, not just Joyner on this site. The Commando often gets over looked because it's an entry model for Joyner but it's a great UTV in it's own right. Most of us would of seen the infamous Commando vs. Rhino video on youtube and wondered if that was real or not but when you compare their stats head to head they are very similar with the Commando having a better wheelbase dimensions for stability, bed and towing capacity and the Rhino with a wee bit more power. The video and above stats are both from 2006/07 and so could now be out of date however both these base models will put the smile on anyone driving one of these UTVs for the 1st time. Cheers Mike.

I did a bit of research with dielectric grease and as it turns out this is the best possible product you can you use for electrical connecters. It's so good, that's all they use in the computer industry now. Forget about white grease spray and use dielectric grease. Thanks Russ. Cheers Mike.

Lenny as rocmoc said plus try white grease spray. It is a water repellent and is 100% water resistant. I suspect it's more water than dirt that has got into your electric connecters and water will travel up your wires. Unplug, inspect, clean and spray all connecters that you can to help prevent future problems. This is a fat based type of grease and would recommend to everyone. It will stop sand & dirt too but it will stick so try not to have to much excess on the outside. Cheers Mike.

I use a hydraulic Bottle Jack that's good for 4000kg and 14 & 1/2". Cut a couple of 4" square 2x4s blocks and that should see ya right. Cheers Mike.
