  1. Look at it this way. You're not getting any enjoyment out of it just sitting there. You gotta try it sometime.
  2. If you can't hear the fuel pump prime, it may not be working, even though you installed a new one. If you turn the key to the first stop, you should hear the pump run for a few seconds. I know I can hear mine. It's faint, but I can hear it.
  3. Any water get into any electrical or electronic components?
  4. Mine's doing good, no problems as of yet. You must have finally worked all the bugs out of yours. How's the fishing?
  5. Hey Joe! Been wondering where you have been. Haven't seen you post in a while. Hope everything is good with you.
  6. White smoke is usually coolant leaking into the cylinder. Sounds like a blown head gasket to me.
  7. Sounds like a choke issue, like it's not choking the engine enough until it warms up. Is it carbureted or fuel injected?
  8. Could it be the starter? Or maybe check the brake interlock. I had to adjust mine from the factory.
  9. Very good, sir. Thanks. Looks like I will have to do some measuring.
  10. Anybody have any idea what gauge wire to use?
  11. Does the cooling fan come on at all? If not, there's the issue to track down as to why. Could be that the fan motor has given up the ghost, or a solenoid has gone bad, loose or broken wiring, etc. If the fan does come on, you could have a bad thermostat, or the sensor at the radiator that signals the fan to turn on and off could be bad. There also may be an air pocket in the cooling system, which will cause the issue you describe. For the air pocket, you need to locate the bleed screws and bleed the air out. You will also probably have to elevate the front end to assist on removing the air. That's all I know, which I mostly picked from others on this forum. Hopefully someone else will chime in to add to this. Good luck!
  12. So make new cables for both positive and ground? Any idea what size we should use?
  13. Can those battery cables be replaced with bigger ones? Are we talking about just the positive side, or both?
  14. For engine oil, you should use oil that's for wet clutch systems. I don't know the weight, but there's manuals available here on this site that may be specific to your SXS. That should give you the weights and types of fluids. Is the engine a Hisun or a Linhai? As for the winch, if you have a remote control for the winch, I can't answer your question. But I wouldn't shy away from a winch from Harbor Freight. They have really come up with tools and equipment. Not like the stuff they had years ago. If you have the control in the dash like I have, you should be able to connect it with not much of a problem. There's a section in the list of forums that has the service and/or operators manuals. Don't know if your specific model is listed. There's a member who downloads manuals for the membership. Saves us lots of money!
  15. Hey Steve, How did you bleed the air out? Inquiring minds want to know.
  16. Be sure to use oil that's for a wet clutch system, assuming it has that.
  17. Have you tried to start it since the oil change?
  18. Are the mounts tight? My bed squeaks unless there's some weight in it. I haven't figured out how to make that go away. The mounts may need some lubrication.
  19. Just FYI, there's some history between Joe, Tractor Supply, and Massimo. He will fill you in.
  20. Is this seat installed in the bed, or mounted to the frame?
  21. I've had my T-boss 410 since 2020. No problems yet aside from some adjustment issues. I don't use it much, and the battery leaves something to be desired. It needs a replacement is all. Cue Joe Breaux.....😎
