  1. That sounds like a good deal. I have done some shopping via the internet, and most plows are $500.00 or more.
  2. Sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets you 😎
  3. Joe, for the record I have never felt bullied by you. As stated earlier, I can understand your anger and frustration with Massimo. Fortunately (for me, anyway), I haven't experienced the same problem that you did. But I also haven't put many miles on it, either. Hopefully it will remain that way, but that's being overly optimistic. I also am fortunate enough to have the Linhai engine vs. the Hisun engine, which I believe you have. You've had a bad experience all the way around, which would cause any of us to look poorly on the make, no matter what that make may be.
  4. I can see that this has the makings of an ugly situation. Go to your corners, guys. 😎
  5. I can understand his frustration, given the situation he was in. The UTV broke down an hour after he purchased it, the retailer refused to help, as did the factory. If I were in that same situation, I no doubt would be fired up, too.
  6. Kinda concerned that he hasn't chimed in yet πŸ˜‰
  7. I have had mine since 2019. Don't have many hours on it. I purchased it from the factory in Texas. It was an auction. When it was delivered, the roof was missing. Apparently it broke and blew off in transit. The driver refunded me $200.00. The next morning I contacted Massimo and advised them of what happened, and was fully prepared to purchase another roof. This was a floor model, so it didn't have much of a warranty. Much to my surprise, they sent out a new one free of charge. I have also had some technical questions, and one of their techs has been very helpful with wiring diagrams, tech advice, etc. I know that hasn't been the case with some owners, especially those who bought their machine through Tractor Supply. Apparently Massimo has not been prompt with warranty reimbursements with repair shops, causing most shops to refuse to work on them. Believe me, I get that. Maybe this will all change, especially if they want to step up their sales and service. I just wanted to say that I have been fortunate to have good encounters with the factory. 8. It just sounds like the fuel supply was restricted. I don't know if it's safe to use some dry gas, but I wouldn't think it would hurt, and it would get rid of any ice that possibly could be there. Does it have good spark?
  9. Sounds like you have a great hybrid UTV. Maybe yours is holding up better than some of the name brands.
  10. I know you said you checked the fuel filter, but it almost sounds like a fuel delivery problem. How cold is it there? Maybe some ice in the fuel lines? Or a bad fuel pump?
  11. Are you stepping on the brake pedal hard enough? I know, sounds kinda stupid, but mine was doing the same thing. It was out of adjustment enough to not turn on the brake lights. Took a minor adjustment, and it's all good now.
  12. Do an internet search. Lots of info there. Here's a website: https://motorcycledoctor.com/ Ebay and Amazon are good sites as well.
  13. Hmmm, kinda concerning that the tech didn't know what type of fuel filter, fuel pressure, etc. Maybe there is a manual on this site that will be better suited to your application. Mine has a fuel filter mounted on the frame a little bit away from the fuel tank. It definitely doesn't look like that. It's similar to a filter for a car or truck with fuel injection, only smaller. Maybe someone else here with a similar model can offer some assistance. Personally, I would be very curious about why it was manufactured without a fuel filter, unless the filter is in the tank?
  14. That looks like a fuel filter for use in carbureted automotive applications. I don't know what fuel pressure your UTV utilizes. I believe those are unidirectional. Doesn't matter what the direction is.
  15. Yeah, I would have to try that myself. I've always been a sceptic of noticable performance from a switch in spark plugs, unless it's a faulty plug(s). I have a real issue with the E3 spark plugs. The spark is going to take the path of least resistance, so there will only be one spark. Now maybe where different types of metals are used in the electrodes that can conduct electricity better, but can that actually be felt in the performance? Now a good coil or a system that enhances the spark, maybe.
  16. Is this a fuel injected engine? If it's carbureted, sounds like a choke issue to me. If it's fuel injected, maybe a fuel pump problem.
  17. Wasn't the idea behind the platinum tips, as well as the iridium tips, for longevity? I have never been a believer in the factory claims that those plugs don't need replacing for 100,000 miles. Guess I'm old school.
  18. Mine has the Hisun engine. So far so good. No overheating issues. I do need a little more powerful battery. It starts right up, but it doesn't crank over very fast.
  19. Hmmm, I wasn't aware that iridium was a better conductor than copper. I may have to give that a try.
