  1. So make new cables for both positive and ground? Any idea what size we should use?
  2. Can those battery cables be replaced with bigger ones? Are we talking about just the positive side, or both?
  3. For engine oil, you should use oil that's for wet clutch systems. I don't know the weight, but there's manuals available here on this site that may be specific to your SXS. That should give you the weights and types of fluids. Is the engine a Hisun or a Linhai? As for the winch, if you have a remote control for the winch, I can't answer your question. But I wouldn't shy away from a winch from Harbor Freight. They have really come up with tools and equipment. Not like the stuff they had years ago. If you have the control in the dash like I have, you should be able to connect it with not much of a problem. There's a section in the list of forums that has the service and/or operators manuals. Don't know if your specific model is listed. There's a member who downloads manuals for the membership. Saves us lots of money!
  4. Thank you, sir. Very informative!
  5. Hey Steve, How did you bleed the air out? Inquiring minds want to know.
  6. Be sure to use oil that's for a wet clutch system, assuming it has that.
  7. Have you tried to start it since the oil change?
  8. How did you bleed the air out?
  9. Wow, Joe is suspiciously quiet.
  10. Are the mounts tight? My bed squeaks unless there's some weight in it. I haven't figured out how to make that go away. The mounts may need some lubrication.
  11. Just FYI, there's some history between Joe, Tractor Supply, and Massimo. He will fill you in.
  12. Is this seat installed in the bed, or mounted to the frame?
  13. I've had my T-boss 410 since 2020. No problems yet aside from some adjustment issues. I don't use it much, and the battery leaves something to be desired. It needs a replacement is all. Cue Joe Breaux.....😎
  14. That sounds like a good deal. I have done some shopping via the internet, and most plows are $500.00 or more.
  15. Sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets you 😎
  16. Joe, for the record I have never felt bullied by you. As stated earlier, I can understand your anger and frustration with Massimo. Fortunately (for me, anyway), I haven't experienced the same problem that you did. But I also haven't put many miles on it, either. Hopefully it will remain that way, but that's being overly optimistic. I also am fortunate enough to have the Linhai engine vs. the Hisun engine, which I believe you have. You've had a bad experience all the way around, which would cause any of us to look poorly on the make, no matter what that make may be.
  17. I can see that this has the makings of an ugly situation. Go to your corners, guys. 😎
  18. I can understand his frustration, given the situation he was in. The UTV broke down an hour after he purchased it, the retailer refused to help, as did the factory. If I were in that same situation, I no doubt would be fired up, too.
  19. There he is! Joe never disappoints 😉
  20. Kinda concerned that he hasn't chimed in yet 😉
  21. I have had mine since 2019. Don't have many hours on it. I purchased it from the factory in Texas. It was an auction. When it was delivered, the roof was missing. Apparently it broke and blew off in transit. The driver refunded me $200.00. The next morning I contacted Massimo and advised them of what happened, and was fully prepared to purchase another roof. This was a floor model, so it didn't have much of a warranty. Much to my surprise, they sent out a new one free of charge. I have also had some technical questions, and one of their techs has been very helpful with wiring diagrams, tech advice, etc. I know that hasn't been the case with some owners, especially those who bought their machine through Tractor Supply. Apparently Massimo has not been prompt with warranty reimbursements with repair shops, causing most shops to refuse to work on them. Believe me, I get that. Maybe this will all change, especially if they want to step up their sales and service. I just wanted to say that I have been fortunate to have good encounters with the factory. 22. It just sounds like the fuel supply was restricted. I don't know if it's safe to use some dry gas, but I wouldn't think it would hurt, and it would get rid of any ice that possibly could be there. Does it have good spark?
  23. Sounds like you have a great hybrid UTV. Maybe yours is holding up better than some of the name brands.
  24. I know you said you checked the fuel filter, but it almost sounds like a fuel delivery problem. How cold is it there? Maybe some ice in the fuel lines? Or a bad fuel pump?
