  2. Is it possible to add a low gear to the Coleman ut400? If so please help. Ty
  3. Is there anyway to add a low gear to Coleman ut400? Probably silly question but still asking. Ty
  4. For the life of me I cannot find the directions on how to change the display to the standard for the USA - MPH. Not sure why Tractor Supply didn't do it before I bought it but it is what it is. Does anyone have the instructions to do this. I have the 2023 T Boss 550 just to be clear.
  5. What's the best sport UTV / SxS? Varius opinions from the Can-Am Maverick to the Polaris RZR. A few videos that do a pretty good job on reviews and offering their thoughts on the best sport UTV / SxS on the market. 😁 Post your thoughts!

  7. Update: my dealer found the remote. Serial number matches the receiver module. I've picked up the remote but haven't tested yet.
  8. if you can climb into a UTV, you would have much more mobility and probably spend 1/2 the money of a trackchair
  9. For ability to get around your UTV/atv is much more capable than any existing wheelchairs including the track style. Their range is very limited and they are not good on wet slippery surfaces or any kind of steep hill or sidehill. Can you modify or have somebody else modify your side by side to make it easy to access. Looking at your side by side it looks like some overhead straps could help your access. You didn't mention if you are paraplegic or quadriplegic.

  11. Just a quick update, I believe the problem is the main relay. This is not a serviceable part. It's not the small box with some fuses that some models have, it's one small relay plugged into a wiring harness. Weird thing, I happened to be walking by it, turned the key, and it magically worked! At least I was able to get it back home!
  12. I would really like to know what you guys think about this. I'll try not to ramble and make it as clear as I can. I took this new job with companyX as a fiber splicer a year ago. I have a 45' bucket truck and 10or12 x 8 ft enclosed splice trailer I have to take home. Within the last 6 months all the management in the splice dept left. Now the power/construction management and higher ups are filling in. Just recently we were told travel to our 1st job is not payable even though we are in a company vehicle. We are union so I asked the union business manager about this. His reply was be grateful you were paid travel as long as you were and that you don't have to drive your POV to the job. Last week I had 50hr total. The job area is 4-4.5 hrs away. My time was reduced to 44.5 hrs since we were told this travel thing on Tuesday of that week. I wasn't hired for this area. I was hired for area a lot closer to home. Pay is good. Work is not hard. Insurance is through the union and so far pretty good. But I hate the thought of having to work extra just to make a 40hr paycheck. Anyone who has to drive as part of their job knows windshield time is not easy. Anyway what do you guys think. Should I look for a different job or just suck it up because of the decent pay and health insurance.
  13. I did a few times. Once when on a HARD pull in high range. (I'm not calling it a transmission any longer with high and low gear cause the CVT system changes the "gear". I'm calling it a "transfer" case with high and low range.) But put it in low and had no trouble. Lately been having more and more slipping but I've got almost 3000 miles on my Axis in 2 years. Did you clean the sheaves good. Then scuff them a little with a green brillo pad. Check YouTube for cleaning any CVT belt system and they will have it on there. I'm going to have to get another belt here soon and do a change on mine.
  14. I know that this may be a bit outside the forum , but has anyone had any experience with all terrain wheelchairs ? I live on 5 sandy acres in Florida and am currently wheelchair bound. I have a power wheelchair but it doesn't work very well on my property . I.m looking at one that has rubber treads like a tank . It's pretty expensive so I was wondering if anyone had any experience or knows anything about them before I pulled the trigger. I do have aa side-by-side but can't get in and out. Thanks , Rich

  16. I picked up this Hisun 700cc for a good deal. no crank no start unit 1900 miles on it. Put a new battery and starter solenoid fired right up but sounded rough some kind of rattle/clunk noise. Does anyone know what this noise could be? Couldn't get a better video of it running as i don't want to risk doing more damage. Drained the oil it looks good no metal in it. 445374820_7315077208620291_6073155782020130975_n.mp4
  17. Have a Hisun 800 it runs for about 35 minutes then stalls. Crank's over but has no spark. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and it starts and runs again for about 35 minutes. Changed the CDI / ECU controller and still does it.
  18. Hi, I'm in Australia and need to replace the footbrake pads and cable (weak point if you ask me, bad design), plus might as well get the main brakes done at the same time. Anyone know an Aus dealer, or, know the parts number or equivalent in the petrol version? Cheers.
  19. Hi, all! I. I'm new to the board, hoping someone could help me out! I have a 2020 Hisun Sector 550C that I bought new in 2021. Today, I took some stuff next door to my parents. When I went to leave, I turned on the key, heard the solenoid click, but no lights, no guage activity, no fuel pump, and no starter. The battery is good, I checked all the fuses, they are good. Not sure if the relays are good, or even what to look for there. Is it possible that it's maybe a wire? I'm really stumped on this one! Any help would be deeply appreciated! Attached is a pic of the fuse box layout. Thanks! Todd
  20. As far as I know the oils that need changed is 1. Engine oil which also lubes the "transmission" 2. The front differential 3. The real differential. When changing the engine oil, I took the top hose off the oil cooler and used cheap, low pressure tire inflator (12v that plugs into cigarette socket) to blow the oil back through the lines. Then out the oil drain plug. It takes just a little more oil when changing. But 99% ( + - ) of the old oil is removed from the machine when changing oil.
  21. Maybe you are exceeding load limit..I think mine say 400 lbs in bed
  22. So cut some metal squares from scrap or go to Lowe’s and pick up some metal sheets. Just like above rivet or bolt to add support to those areas that are cracked. The bigger area you cover the better. Do it from the bottom to make it look more professional. Probably not great to haul firewood in the plastic bed. You might also look into a metal sheet to cover and add support to the entire bed. My past job experience we “scabbed” vibration conveyors using the metal squares with great success.
  23. If it’s anything like mine the connectors are kinda junky and don’t always make good contact. Reseat all concerned connectors and make sure they are contacting good. My 4wd wouldn’t engage, had 12vdc to the connector and 26.5 ohms on the front diff magnetic coil. It had flat pins in the male side of the connector so I gave a bit of a twist to them and it’s been working fine since. have you solved your overheating problem?
  24. Thanks for that insight! Don’t know if mine needs any adjustment yet. Still haven’t taken it for a night time/early morning ride.
  25. wow thats good to know, thanks for the info
  26. Do not use full synthetic automotive oils..you will fry the wet clutch..

I just bought my first SxS.   (XP 4 1000) I have ridden and raced dirt bikes for 40+ years.  Old age has set in and I needed a new format to continue my off road adventures.  My wife and I enjoy exploring old mining sites and ghost towns all over Arizona.  We have a home in Southern Arizona and share our time between home and Phoenix.  We look forward to the tips and information shared here.
