  1. Here is something to go with your heaters, Seat Heaters! http://www.corbeau.com/products/seat_heaters/seat_heaters/# Can be installed in your factory seats as well as Courbeau replacements. I am going with Courbeau seats and this maybe a good start for some heat in the Jeep as I don't think I am reinstalling the heater because of a conflict with hanging pedals. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  2. Leave your spare tire behind but better carry a cell phone. Replace the radiator with a lighter better flowing one. The Stock one is super heavy. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  3. Your Jeep is out there waiting for you, all about timing. Was in Florida, back home now! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  4. Not to worry, you didn't. A great crowd of people on here! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  5. I have wanted one also and have been looking. What did you get? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  6. Welcome! BUT, I use to have friends on here before I was included in your post, LOL! Since you have got me in hot water with my buddies, you better stick around and post about your toys. Also my old use to be buddies use to welcome me to the yearly Jamboree so I know you will be welcome also. I'm confused! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  7. If by chance, hope it doesn't happen, you fry the actuator; I have a brand NEW unit never installed. IF you are talking about the unit at the diff! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  8. Mama said if I can't say anything good, don't say anything at all. Groundhog Day! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  9. Happy Holidays from the DARK SIDE (Jeeps)! LOL! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  10. Trying to stay warm! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  11. Little update. Jeeps for the most part are on hold because of upcoming trip and getting ready for winter. I have secured another tub/body to replace the rusty body on the '70. BUT it is not going on the '70. I was getting ready to install hanging pedals in the '69. SO instead I am putting the new tub which has hanging pedals on the '69 and moving the body off the '69 on to the '70 which has floor pedals. The replacement tub is a '74 and Jeep/AMC had completed moving the pedal. So I will have factory installed pedals instead of coming up with the design myself. In the bigger picture this is better & faster. In the mean time the '70 is drivable and will remain that way. I will do the work on the '69 first. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  12. How about some input of how to increase posting / participation on the forum? I have tried starting other topics but little or no one is interested. If we don't get more activity going I am fearful for the site's long term health. I have been on other sites that are now gone from not enough use and they had more posting than here. Ideas!!!!!! On some of my other sites, people even check in just to say Hi for the day. So big Wed morning Hi!!! Working on the installation of new doors on the house. Laid tile yesterday. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  13. What other sites & blogs do you check daily? 14. Sorry about that, I was just responding to how did the top look on the Ranger. No reponse for you question about the Trooper. That would have to come from CCMOFFROAD. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  15. This design works better on the Ranger. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  16. You asked for it! Too utility looking, Doesn't flow with the design of the Wildcat. If you are looking at going into the mass aftermarket, this will hurt you. Someone will build one that looks more like it was designed by Arctic Cat. Just my opinion. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  17. Yes there is but not by most shade tree'rs. I would do a leak down test first. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  18. Welcome! I use to be a Jeeper, became a UTVer and then became a Jeep again. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  19. Could also because of bad valves or valve guides seals. Also could be a head gasket starting to leak between two adjacent cylinders. After this the really bad stuff that rarely happens. Won't really know until you tear it down. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  20. I do stuff like that all the time. Really hate it when it is on a site/blog where I can edit my mess-up. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  21. Nah, the new one is faded red and completely stock. Pretty ugly as it came out of the mid-west and was driven in the snow & salt. I have new floors & braces I will be installing this next week. Just got it running and it runs GREAT! Trying to get it ready for a winter trip behind the motorhome. Won't look great but will run great. Will deal with the looks in the Spring. Just got the new trans & transfer case back for the '69. Will install in the next couple of weeks but still have to rework the pedals so I can install the new brake & clutch setup. On a sidenote, just sold my sandrail today so made roon in the garages. Really liked it but with my best buddy getting motion sickness everytime we went in the sand, it had to go. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  22. Happy T-day to everyone! Everyone has left and I'm too full. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  23. Ten Four Kinarfi. Currently planning to do Ouray, CO. next Aug. Will be my big summer trip in 2013. Didn't get there this year as the Jeep wasn't ready. I don't know what the CO laws are about driving a UTV or ATV on the highway. Will be taking the road Jeep, not the rock crawler / off-roader.
  24. You KNOW that is not what I was looking for. Looking for the local info that is hard to find.
