  2. Couldn't tell a lot from video. Did sound like a little bit of a miss. In the dark check to see if the plug wire is arcing. Check connections for coil and spark plug. Maybe check and re-gap the spark plug. Good luck and keep us informed.
  3. I'm having a similar issue with my Axis 500. It seems to bog down and struggle, particularly on inclines/hills (see video). Frustratingly, it also only happens intermittently, more often when the machine has been running for a while (I use it for farm work only). So far I have: Replaced fuel filter Replaced fuel injector Replaced MAP sensor (reset ECU after) Replaced spark plug Verified air filter is clean Verified no obstructions in exhaust I only run it on 91+ gas and put a can of seafoam through it to no avail I did previously have an issue with a failed one-way bearing, but this particular issue predates that failure. I replaced the one-way bearing a few months ago and inspected the wet clutch, primary/secondary clutches and belt while I was in there-didn't see anything of concern. Where do I go from here? 4. Got it running. The 4wd gets 12v power but does not engage. The posi traction (rear end) does not engage also. Any one have experience / ideas on fixing these items? Thanks Dave

  6. I don't know anything about the atvs, but he you tried shorting the solenoid with a screwdriver, and if so does it crank over or start?
  7. Thanks for the info. I did locate the part on partstree and it was very expensive $291.00 plus tax and shipping total $325. The part wasn't much bigger than a quarter. I'll try and include a Pic. Anyway I installed it and the UTV runs well. Yes it is gas not propane. I switched to non-ethonal gas.
  8. Clyde, are you aware that number is for a propane carb. Are you trying to run it on gas? That carb is available for around 300.-00. If you were noty aware that it was propane powered, I would be trying to get a refundGood luckYou may be able to switch it to gas but thats not my forte. Oh, I saw the part available on partstree and a coupla other sites (ebay)

  10. I got a 2014 bennche bighorn 700 efi it gets fire it’s getting gas but just won’t start up and half way backfires through the air box what would cause that problem I need all help I can get please and thanks
  11. ATV just clicks when trying to start. Battery is good, has a new starter, and all the wiring looks good. any suggestions on where to go from here? thanks
  12. Overheating is an issue with Chinese UTVS. Especially anything HISUN..full time fan is a good idea in hot weather
  13. If it only happens downhill engine braking, and riding the brakes stops it its simply a design flaw. If not i would take it back to dealer, could be something else, hard to diagnose unless i could actually test drive it myself.
  14. I could test to know exactly when it happens However, is it a malfunction or is there nothing to worry about?
  15. Hmmm only thing i can think of is that if the rear driveshaft doesnt have a carrier bearing part way down it could be binding when off throttle, downhill under load. Other thought if you are decending steep and engine braking without dragging or using the actual brakes it can be the secondary loading up and banging around. Do a test run on the second point see whats up, if braking helps just brake.
  16. This happens only when i go downhill and only sometimes, not too often
  17. Welcome! Just a introduction to the offshore brand machines. They tend to be underpowered and high geared for heavy loads or work. Be sure to use low range when working. Also i suggest putting your cooling fan on a direct ignition relay, bypass temp sensor, quad is on fan is on for work. Or you can put fan on a switch, turn on in low range, but you can accidentally forget. These tips will help prevent overloading or overheating the engine Cheers from Canada!
  18. I’m not sure about 4wd because i didn’t drive in 4wd too much, but it happens in 2wd for sure
  19. I am looking for the front brush guard that was made by Off Road Body Armor. They stopped making it to fit my 2023 Kymco 450i.. So if anyone knows where one is I would like to buy it. Thanks Gary
  20. I just purchased a new sheave and the sliders come from the factory with flat spots. My question is the same my weights had white dots on the small flat side, Are those to be facing up as you look at the sheave?
  21. Three times now our Tracker SXS EViS has been driven off with it plugged up charging. This last time ripped the charger off the wall and now it won't charge. Is there a way to test my charger to see if it's what's not working? I think the wires inside the sxs may have been pulled loose too so it might be the sxs that's not charging rather than the charger not working. And is there a charging alternative to ordering a $500+ new charger?
  22. I fixed it -- evidentley when I checked the oil one of the times, I unplugged a green wire -- changed the oil today, noticed the unplugged wire, and now the issue is resolved...

  24. #6 Coil showed .5 and 6.98, so it seems to be bad. Concerning step 8 I could not find any connections wrong. Also, I tried a continuity test on the plug wire and there wasn't any. I found a coil and wire on Ebay for 30 bucks. At Coleman Powersports they were around 100 dollars.

I just bought my first SxS.   (XP 4 1000) I have ridden and raced dirt bikes for 40+ years.  Old age has set in and I needed a new format to continue my off road adventures.  My wife and I enjoy exploring old mining sites and ghost towns all over Arizona.  We have a home in Southern Arizona and share our time between home and Phoenix.  We look forward to the tips and information shared here.
