  1. First thing i would try is lubing the ends of both cables with WD40, it will creep down the cable eventually. i would also try disconnecting the cable(s) from what they hook too and move the choke and throttle by hand, and see if if they move easy or not.
  2. Need a little back ground info, did the buggy sit for awhile and did you get it running, or have you had it since brand new?
  3. Great manual, will come in handy to help a relative who just a bought a 610 with some minor issues.
  4. Might check PowerSports Nation... located in Georgia.
  5. Brand new ones are $319 with no fuel cap or gauge.
  6. Take a look here at what Mike has, https://pacificeaglepowersports.com/shop-by-vehicle/hisun/ I think he still offers the 5% discount for UTV board members as well. i'm not sure.
  7. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I'm still full......and still eating....
  8. I do not know much about HiSun other than i see they need worked on alot, here's a factory service manual from our Downloads library
  9. Looking for a good/decent fuel tank for a 05 Mule 610. A family member just bought one and the Previous owner said the tank was rusted out and chunked it, so it just has a little 1 gallon tank on it for now. I see some on ebay for $150.... if anyone can beat $150 shipped ,let me know. --- Travis
  10. dang! that sucks! I've always heard good things about Sedona tires.... i hope they end up making it right for you.
  11. Those engines use a decompressor on the camshaft to make starting easier, so compression readings at cranking speeds will always be low. I've found on most 4 cycle engines between 5 and 20 HP, 90 PSI is good, 60-80 PSI has some mileage but still usuable, 50 and below, time to look at a possible causes of lost compression.
  12. Yeah i've been doing some reading on them apparently the biggest difference was the color schemes, Kawasaki only sold them in Green and Red, and suzuki sold them in yellow hoods and black beds, and different color combinations. I think they called it a Q.U.V
  13. Welcome to the board! hopefully someone here can help you out!
  14. Positive and Negative should never touch directly together or be hooked to the same component. Generally, there is a Cable from the battery, to the solenoid post, then another cable from the solenoid to the starter. What model HiSun do you have?
  15. Saw these on a Mule FB group, apparently, it is a Kawasaki made, Mule 3010, but Suzuki badged
  16. Most common problem is the float needle in the carburetor has failed. it's job is to meter fuel flow into the carb bowl as needed, Requiring a carb rebuild or replacement. Do you have the model number of the engine or machine?
  17. It is the belt most likely and thats where i would start as it probably the least expensive component of the drive system. I checked gates, and they only make a belt for the Hisun Tactic 400 or Early strike models. MotorcycleDoctor is pretty much the best source in the States for Hisun parts, have a look at this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/201453293033?hash=item2ee78d4de9:g:z8oAAOSwo0JWKB9b
  18. If it won't start with starting fluid, i would suspect a no spark condition. in that case i would unplug the ignition kill wire from the coil, and then try to start it.
  19. dang that sucks.. i hope you can get it covered under warranty.
  20. remove the air intake duct from the carburetor.. spray some starting fluid or brake parts cleaner (a few dribbles of gas will work as well) straight into the carb, and try to fire it up. if it runs and dies, you have a fuel delivery issue. if it doesn't run at all, most likely no spark, spark at the wrong time (sheared flywheel key) or insufficient compression. If you get no run when you do that, remove the side metal flywheel cover, and unplug the small black kill wire that is hooked to the coil and retry it, if it runs with that wire unplugged, the kill circuit (which is a ground circuit) is shorted to ground or the keyswitch is bad.... Also, be sure you installed the coil correctly, they are directional...it will spark, but the spark will be at the wrong time and it wont ignite the fuel and air mixture. Also be sure you gapped the coil to the flywheel correctly. should be about .012" gap....... It could even be the spark plug. Here is a complete service manual from our download library
  21. However, if i look at the parts list for the 2018 4 seater..... they use the same 409135 engine..... 2017
