  1. The Stator has been replaced and it's a charging son of a gun... I've got several parts with a How To video coming soon and a good write up... Due to my inept filming skills there are several parts to it......
  2. The J word got Cancel Cultured so it doesn't apply 😝😝
  3. 31 days with no issues with the John Deere starter assist relay... 36 days is the goal to beat.
  4. i don't know much about the CC UTV's, but 1 thing i can think of is 1. If it has seat belts, and they aren't buckled, it could be limiting the speed.
  5. I'd find which wire powers it, and cut it... leave enough slack to where it could spliced at later date if needed.
  6. Is it a Briggs & Stratton?
  7. I'd unplug the sensor and see what happens.
  8. Welcome! If it were me i'd try some Blue Loctit on the nut, could be a cheap fix. Or take the nut to a hardware store and get Nylock nut
  9. Well, all i know is someone is getting a good well taken care of machine. I bet you can get some mud grips, lift kit and even some wheel spacers to put on your chair.. then you can go anywhere. I'll be praying for you.
  10. i went and got my dads good ol Klein tester this morning, it would occasionally show from 24 to 28 volts at idle, then drop down to about 15 volts, then about 10 volts sometimes lower, it did the same on both wires. the voltage really fluctuated. i then checked voltage at the A/C stator wires where they go into the regulator plug, 4 volts A/C Max... of course that voltage fluctuation might be the symptom of the component going out i guess. i'd rather spend $7 and run 2 new wires to the reg from the stator, than spend $80 on a stator i didn't need. One thing i want to try is making a new "harness" since those two stator wires just go straight to the rectifier, get some 14 or 16 gauge wire and go from the Stator plugs to the regulator to rule out any in between issues.
  11. PREFACE I think my stator (alternator) may be giving up on me... Barely maintaining a constant 12.5 volts.. Checked all connections. No corrosion or melted spots.. I unplugged the leads that come from the Stator at the engine, both are only putting out around 12 to 13 Volts V A/C.... Whereas it should be 24VAC+ at idle. Manual calls for .2 to .4 ΩOhms maximum across the leads, My meter was showing .7Ω.. EDIT 8:00PM I scraped off a bit of the insulation behind the stator wire plugs to rule out a bad connector (not likely, being both of them) and from the copper wires to ground, still only 12 volts AC or so... Can't complain, it did it's job for 20 years. And this is for you Joe Breaux "AT LEAST IT AIN'T A MASSIMO"
  12. sounds like an issue with the CVT belt system. have you replaced the belt recently? possible to be slightly too short and cause that problem... or the engine is idling a bit too high.
  13. LOL, 8 bucks from E-bay
  14. Welcome! If it is a belt driven system, either there is an issue with one of the CVT pulleys not fully disengaging., or have you replaced the drive belt recently?
  15. I've always adjusted small engine idles by ear..... but i finally decided to buy a tachometer... it came in the mail today so i tried it out on the mule. it's the kind that wraps around the plug wire. fire the mule up, the idle RPM spec in the manual is 1,300... and the way i have it adjusted now it was idling at 1,260, let it warm up and bumped it up to 1300, which wasn't much
  16. Welcome aboard! i imagine there are a few people on here that can help you out,

  19. i tried, and it tells me i can only access if i live in AU. I imagine the part numbers for US and AU models are the same, so try here, to get here your part numbers, https://www.messicks.com/ and you might be able to search with the part number on the Kubota AU website
