  2. Does anyone know how to adjust the headlights on a 2024 Hisun sector /Bad Boy Bandit 750? The high beams are where the low beams ought to be. Thanks Randy

  4. Thanks, Thats what I thought but wasn't sure. All of the motoercycles I've owned have been that way but wasn't sure about the UTV because of the Hisun terminology. My UTV is a Bad Boy Bandit 750. But it's actually the same as the Hisun Sector 750. Just bought it last month. Been a good machine so far. Plenty stout
  5. Yep that looks just like Tony’s remote receiver. The blue wire is the antenna.
  6. GNFO... excellent work finding a decent replacement. do you have a 1 year later review of the ReLion Insight? BuggyBoy there is at least two suppliers of ReLion Insight in Australia, They seem a better solution vs Lithium Golf amplus. I plan to mull over the purchase for the next few weeks before I fork out the money for the upgrade. My discovery batteries must be over 4 years old and I work them hard everyday, a great testament to the quality due to being far undersized for the E1, as my E1 always crawled up my steep driveway and other hills. Only the last two or so years it fails to climb my steepest hill.
  7. Not the stator, these get spark electronically controlled by the ECU. On the stator side there is a crankshaft position sensor that signals the ECU where TDC is, and that's how the ECU knows when to spark. It's possible that's either unplugged or failed. There's not a good way to test it without an oscilloscope. I would be reluctant to keep throwing parts at it just guessing too, but assuming all fuses are still good, and everything else is plugged in with no broken wires, we're down to crankshaft position sensor and ECU causing a no spark.

  9. Well, it looks like there is a winch remote receiver mounted under the front hood. I just contacted the dealer to ask them if they forgot to give me the winch remote transmitter, or if that's an upcharge. I'll update when I hear from them.
  10. There’s a YouTube video “Tony’s Tractors “ that has a video showing him wiring up a remote on his Bighorn 550. It’ll be practically the same or at least get you in the ballpark.
  11. Yes, when I bought the buggy it was missing some of the parts. I had to order them and put them on. The dash display does come on, but it seems a bit odd though. It's showing 22 hours on it. I just went through all the connections on the buggy, and they appear well connected. I have since listened to it while the wind wasn't blowing, and I can hear the fuel pump working. Do you suppose it could be the stator?
  12. You can buy a dashcam at amazon under $50 and get some great trail riding footage. That's what I use.
  13. Had my Tracker on some narly trails of the Black Hills. Went through some deep ruts and never bottomed out!
  14. Post some pics if you have'em! Like to see'em I will probably upgrade to 29" just for the fun of it. I'll let you know if I do. And see how it works out.
  15. We just took our brand new 2023 tracker 800sx to Fourche Mountain off road area for some light trail riding, it says trail 9 has a lot of big rocks one of the more difficult trails in the system, we said we'll stay away from that trail and wouldn't you know that's where we ended up. So to late to turn back, we were doing some serious rock crawling and very steep inclines with a lot off water crossing, my wife didn't like it. I have to say I was very impressed with our little tracker it handle it all very well, on crappy stock Kendra tires. I bought the LE for the 27" tires I didn't get, if we had gotten the 27" I don't think we would have even bottomed out 1 or 2 times over some very large rocks
  16. Being that yours was unassembled and we've gone through the troubleshooting stuff it might be worth double checking everything is properly connected wire wise, and we didn't miss something stupid. I've never heard of an ECU failing on a brand new unit (not saying it isnt possible) Just to confirm you have all the plugs in the bottom of the ECU & Fuse boxes properly plugged in, give them a push and make sure sometimes they don't get pushed in all the way and aren't connecting. Same with all the various sensor plugs on the engine, and the crank position sensor plug on the right side of the engine case. You said it cranks properly, when you turn the key to on does the dash display come on? Is there someone else that could listen for the fuel pump with the seat out its fairly obvious if you're in a quiet area?
  17. That's sort of a confusing answer because of the way hisun terminology works. The engine & the wet clutch & the high/low/reverse gears (which is what we traditionally term a "transmission") all share oil. The rear differential has its own oil, but it isn't a "transmission" except in hisuns terminology. They also use the term "final drive" or something like that in some literature.
  18. Just got this kymco 450i Uxv from a guy, drove it around before I paid. Got home drove around town a little while the next day and it started squealing and amd didn’t want to go. Got to looking at the clutch, that’s were the noise is coming from, the primarily sounds like. Maybe a bearing in there cause the grinding noise and it only makes the noise when you go to move.
  19. It's not immediately obvious to me how to wire a remote control (wired or wireless) on the Sector E1. Has anyone here done this? Do you have pictures on how to get to the wiring? Thanks!
  20. I went down a rabbit hole with mine a while back, turned out to be just a bad fuel issue.
  21. Hello, The engine lubrication oil is not the same as the transmission/differential oil. The engine oil does "bathe" the clutch. When you change the oil, there are different intervals for the engine and for the transmission/differential case. The oil types are also different for the engine and the differential case. Best regards.
  22. I just found this video on shifting. It starts on the shifting topic at about the 10:00 mark. This makes a lot of sense. https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?&q=Hisun+750+oil+change&&mid=1ED3DFBE3D16F0AA5EB01ED3DFBE3D16F0AA5EB0&mmscn=mtsc&aps=399&FORM=VRDGAR
  23. Does the transmission share the crank case oil with the engine or does it have its own oil seperate from the engine?
  24. I trust you're doing well. The new coil, coil wire, and plug came in yesterday. Just my luck, still there's no spark. I guess I wasn't using the tester correctly. I fear it may be one of the really expensive items.
  25. Thanks for the reminder. So after a winter I’m still very bully on the rig… There is one issue with the plow accessory that is disappointing: it comes with two holes drilled for the hitch pin and cannot be fully inserted because it hits the front differential. Pretty dumb design as it also stresses the wires that control the plow functionality when you can’t insert it all the way. Nothing a hacksaw can’t solve, but it’s a very odd miss. Perhaps due to supporting multiple models. On the upside, I left it out all winter uncovered and we received various amounts of weather, including 32 inches of snow. The thing was covered inside and outside with snow. It started right up. It’s also kept a good charge over the winter. Landmaster told me I could leave it uncovered without issue and they were right. We are very pleased with the purchase and love the lack of exhaust sound and smell in our quiet area. Our neighbors saw me running it and told us later they were confused by why they didn’t hear sound out of it. It’s pretty great, if I have any issues, I’ll report here.

I just bought my first SxS.   (XP 4 1000) I have ridden and raced dirt bikes for 40+ years.  Old age has set in and I needed a new format to continue my off road adventures.  My wife and I enjoy exploring old mining sites and ghost towns all over Arizona.  We have a home in Southern Arizona and share our time between home and Phoenix.  We look forward to the tips and information shared here.
