  2. Late to this post but notice that oil change was in the commentary. I think the Coleman Outfitter 550 uses a wet disk system that shares oil with the engine crank case. Like some motorcycles. I think the oil used has to be compatible with JASO MA ratings like those for motorcycles.
  3. I have a Coleman Outfitter 550 purchased in January 2022 that runs and operates pretty well. 65 hours on it so far. It is a work vehicle for my 10 hilly acres with two 1 acre woods and 5 acres of "lawn". The rest is under a lake. My parking brake does not seem to have any grip. It worked when new but after a month or so, it is just almost useless. I press the parking brake pedal hard until it stops. Still, it won't hold even on slight inclines. I don't see the caliper move as I press the brake pedal down. There seems to be plenty of pad left on it and the rotor is shiny as if it is rubbing a little when applied, but not enough to stop it from rolling. Any thoughts on possible causes?
  4. I had a problem 6-8 mo ago when the unit would not start . But you could see power on the dash. The starter solenoid was replaced and it has been fine until yesterday. When I started it up I noticed a high pitched noise coming from under the front. Like a alarmbuzz ..It seemed to drive fine so I went ahead and used it off and on for a hour or so . The noise would not go away . I parked it in the shed and lifted the hood . It seemed to be coming from the battery compartment ( where the new starter solenoid is) I jiggled the connections and the noise changed timbre and then the machine went dead. No power at all . No lights . When you cross the two poles on the starter solenoid ( previously last year it would start and run ) nothing. Checked the battery and it is fully charged . I checked the fuses inside the battery box and they all looked good but I must be missing something. Anyone have a clue what I need to do next to R&R. The closest repair place is 2 hours away in Mississippi . Any help would be appreciated.
  5. I have 2008 Cub Cadet Volunteer Tracker. Was running fine, parked and next morning electric fuel pump inop. Checked voltage had 4.2 volts. Swapped relays in fuse box, checked all fuses (good) and still low voltage. Does the ECU control the voltage to the fuel pump or which relay controls the voltage to the pump? Have checked all wiring and not found any place it could be shorted (not saying I may have missed something). I am at a loss. Need Help Please.
  6. Thanks Joe. I had about come to that same conclusion but couldn't find anything on it..
  7. welcome aboard .. good place for repair advice when you need it.
  8. Is it possible to add power steering? If so where do I find parts?
  9. probably for ECM to know temp for fuel injection calibration would be my guess
  10. The engine is a 95% clone of YAMAHA Rhino but built with lesser quality parts and assembly..I Have replaced broken defective parts with YAMAHA Parts on my 500 Hisun engine. It has become acceptable SXS now. Mine broke on its first day in its first mile. Neither Hisun or Massimo would back warranty. 6 trips to shop all paid out of pocket..I discourage anyone from buying anything made by Hisun.☠
  11. Nobody ever registered fuel consumption?
  12. It sounds to me that the acceleration nozzle (or pump) needs to be adjusted. The thing runs great at idle and mid and top range. It only needs more fuel when you open the throttle.
  13. I really believe that the design of the Hisun 500/700 is very good but the people building them are very bad. They apparently know nothing (or just don't care) about quality control and customer support. If a good company were to buy them out and fire everyone that ever had anything to do with building them and replace with good engineers, QC, customer support people, they could corner the market. As it is now don't buy one unless you are fully ready to maintain it on your own because you will have problems.

  15. Dear Joyner Owners, Welcome to send emails to [email protected] when you are looking for Joyner parts. Maybe we can help you. Thanks Casey/ Leaf Asia 2024-06-14
  16. Thank you for adding me, I am the owner of a 2021 axis 700 UTV and also a 2023 Can-Am defender UTV
  17. Heating and cooling of the plastic is probably the culprit. The expansion and contraction of the plastic while being held tightly with mounting screws, in my opinion will make this happen. I purchase a 2022 a couple months ago, New and it had the same issue. Tracker warrantied the bed as well as two cracked panels where the passengers step into the back seats.
  18. another aussie with an e1 looking to change the batteries! this thread is tops, so thanks to everyone who's shared details looks like litime will be decent and reasonably easy to get (ebay or direct from them). the relion are only available at rj batteries, and they don't publish prices online which is pretty crappy also I posted about my experience a few years ago if anyone is interested -
  19. Don't do it had problems from day one 2021 axis 700 UTV starter clutch gear went I don't even think there's 30 miles on it it's been sitting cannot find the part anywhere ordered one from eBay it was the wrong one don't do it you can't get the parts for it anymore
  20. Just got a 2024 Odes Junglecross 800 cc four door 5 seater today. Feel free to share advice on longevity tips and common failures of this model. AR
  21. THe UTV has Massimo T Boss 550 labeled on it. I don't see Coleman anywhere but they could be made by the same folks. The display is digital and only shows metric values for speed and odometer. I found some instructions before that were somewhat bizarre. Now that I am ready to try it I can't find them. It has been very difficult to get it nailed down.
  22. when you plug in the charger does it start charging? Just thinking this could help you know if you have something not connected correctly. So mine did this same thing. I had started with the swap b/c my dry cells which were always an issue, would no longer charge they were giving an error. turns out the inline fuse was blown. When i get home i will take a picture of my wiring so you can see if you missed anything. there is a spare ground and positive wire in the mix that is needed for the cart to come online.
  23. Just going to follow-up on this one. I turned the fuel/air screw out 1/4 a turn (counterclockwise) and the hesitation is all but gone. Might do another 1/4 turn rid it completely. She needed more fuel.
  24. Hello everyone! First of all I would like to thank you for the help with my timing problem, it was the chain. Now I’m looking for the part number for the wet clutch baring. I’ve been looking for it but my side by side is a 2022 t-boss 550 and it’s not the same as a 2021. Can anyone help me please? thank you in advance again.

I just bought my first SxS.   (XP 4 1000) I have ridden and raced dirt bikes for 40+ years.  Old age has set in and I needed a new format to continue my off road adventures.  My wife and I enjoy exploring old mining sites and ghost towns all over Arizona.  We have a home in Southern Arizona and share our time between home and Phoenix.  We look forward to the tips and information shared here.
