Picked mine up yesterday. Will post pics later today.  From March 17th to May 9th.

Guess I'm luckier than some. Dealer also sells Polaris and sells more Polaris than any

other. I was determined in what I wanted and waited it out... SO  GLAD I did.  Will still

have to wait on the windshield to come in.

Trust me you wont be sorry with the Mule.

John

Russellville, AR.

I’m in Conway and have been waiting on mine since February 2nd - still no light at end of tunnel.

I’ve decided to to stop thinking about mine until they call me and tell me it’s ready. My local dealer is kept in the dark in most things regarding this whole situation and I truly think Kawasaki customer service is giving me all the info they have, none of it leads to a Mule in the driveway though. It’s just a bad situation made worse by Covid.

The big questions is...did you pay for the Mule, or put a deposit down for it ? When I called  Kawasaki Customer Service(weekly) the man I talked to checked the database for the dealer, to see if the dealer had ordered the parts, and where I was on the dealer's list. If the dealer has not ordered the parts, then you are not on a waiting list with Kawasaki. Kawasaki was shipping parts on a first come first served basis...for new purchases and recalls. There was a parts supply problem getting parts from China, but arrangements were being made to get them from domestic sources. Make sure your dealer has ordered parts for your Mule, and then follow up with Kawasaki Customer Service. Good Luck ! Be Pro Active ! Raise Hell if you have to !

I had put a deposit down to hold the machine.  The dealer told me they had the parts ordered for all of the machines they had in stock,

and any new machines would be coming from the factory with the recalled parts already installed.  I had checked with other dealers throughout

the state and not one of the other dealers even mentioned that the Mules would needed repaired before they could sell them.

Sorry Newbie in Conway... hope your not dealing with Duncan/RVT , as they werent honest with me at all.  But they sure tried to sell me on a Kubota!!!

Yes, it is that dealer- I personally went in to dealership parts dept and they have the engine recall parts, just not steering parts for that recall. Parts guy said they ordered those April 1st - not sure what too so long to put order in.  One thing I did find out is that recall parts are ordered by VIN number- Kawasaki requires that to track which units are still outstanding for recall. So, parts coming in are not on a first come first serve basis - dealer is obligated to have them put on the machine they were shipped for by VIN number when they come in

From what I’m hearing, it would be a good idea to call customer service again tomorrow and see what they say this time. They were in a training session for the last 3 hours of the day on Friday according to their answering machine.

This is one the most frustrating situations I’ve been a part of. I despise the fact that nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, from Kawasaki can give an answer about any of this that seems reasonable or turns out to be truthful. If this were a restaurant or retail store I were dealing with, I would cancel my order and never return.

It isn’t like we’re buying some small ticket item that I can get from multiple sources. I’m trying to spend 15k on something during a time when most people aren’t buying bubble gum and I can’t get a straight answer anywhere. Kubota is looking better all the time!

Just purchased a Pro-FXT EPS today...wondering how long till it’s ready to pick up?

I might start calling Kawasaki and asking them now. I would expect once the pipeline of steering parts started it will do nothing but increase as long as needed. It seems to take most dealers around a week to get the part installed. If I had to guess... I would say over a month to pick it up. Hope i'm wrong.=

I bought  mine February 2nd, it’s May 21 now and still no light at end of tunnel regarding recall parts - verified with dealer weeks ago that they are in fact on order and have been. Called Kawasaki customer service and all they could tell me is get with my dealer - no help whatsoever.  3 months and 20 days is ridiculous. I’m not buying one for fun , I need one because my farm really demands it.  As a result, I threw in the towel today.  Went down and bought a Polaris XP 1000 and it’s in my shop tonight. Calling dealer tomorrow to get my money back. I hope Kawasaki reads this post.

I don’t blame you one bit. I wish there was another machine that I was on the fence about. I would’ve bought it already.

What I really don’t understand is how Colby bought his and had it 6 days later and we’ve waited since Feb. Now his dealer has parts for units that aren’t even sold yet. Where is your dealer located Colby? I’d like to see what they have available.

My dealer is in North Texas. Outdoor Powersports in Gainesville, TX, to be exact. I held off buying since January. I’ve been following you guys’ ups and downs on here. I kept in contact with my salesman over text about once a week. When he said they were starting to get parts in for some I went ahead and purchased. They kind of pride themselves on customer service and an easy sales process, it’s a pretty good-sized dealer, and they’re advertised price was lower than some other quotes I’d had with firefighter discounts and such, so I figured if anyone around here could get the parts soon it would be them. Blessed to be correct...and a bit lucky. There are 3-4 dealers closer to home than they were, but they couldn’t beat their price, and like I said...I thought a larger dealer might have the hookup with getting recall parts in quicker. I have no proof that this is true, but it made sense in my head😂. Plus, I did everything by text and email. I didn’t lay eyes on my ride until yesterday when I went to pick it up.

If you don't raise Hell about this with Kawasaki Customer Service every week, best find a reputable dealer. When I called Kawasaki Customer Service, there was only one man that could give you straight answers . Seemed like the gals were too lazy, or didn't know how to research the problem. I think his name was "Nate"...Good Luck !...

I ordered a Mule Pro FXT on May 7th in Ohio. I was told it would be 7-10 days. I asked them about the recalls and if that would affect my wait time. They said that all models coming from Kawasaki at that point had all been fixed and would not be delayed because of the recalls. As of today, I am still waiting for mine. I called the dealer a little less than two weeks ago to check on it.  They told me it (obviously) hadn’t come in yet but they were hoping it would be in that week. He called me that Friday (Friday before Memorial Day weekend) and said it still wasn’t there and they weren’t sure when it would be in. He said they had an email in with Kawasaki asking about an ETA but had not received any response back from Kawasaki at that point. He said they were hoping for last week but wasn’t optimistic about it because of the lack of reply from Kawasaki. He blamed it on the large amounts of orders on them and the delays from Covid-19. I figured I would wait until the end of this week and give them a call again to see if they have any update. I have a trip planned for the end of June that I’ll need it for, I thought ordering at the beginning of May would give me plenty of time to get it and use it around the farm to get familiar with it before loading it on a trailer and going to play with it. Hopefully I’ll get it soon. I’ve been waiting as patiently as I can for it.

I strongly suggest you call Kawasaki Customer Service for some answers.  Did you put a deposit down, or pay, for the Mule ? If you didn't , you may have a longer wait than expected. Other customers that have paid will get their machines before those who have not. The latest Kawasaki News advertises the 2021's are out now.  The Kawasaki Mule is worth waiting for. I have mine all decked out now...Great Mule !...Good Luck to you !...Your Great Adventure Is Waiting for You !...

He had me put a $200 deposit down the day he ordered it. I planned on putting $2000 down and financing the rest but didn’t have it with me (I didn’t go intending to buy that day but ended up doing so). We did all the financing paperwork but I haven’t actually signed anything yet, nor have I given them the $2000, so I’d assume I haven’t actually technically bought it yet, just put down a deposit. I’m sure I will love it once I get it, the wait is just frustrating.

I had checked Kawasaki’s website last week to see about talking to somewhere to see if I could get some information on what’s going on, but it said that I need to go through my dealer to get that information. Maybe I’ll try giving their customer service a call this week anyway and see if I can get any info out of them.

Tmweb, you’re in a similar spot to what I dealt with. I would continually call customer service. If they say it’ll be at the dealer next week, call and ask if it has shipped; you have to stay on top of it. Hopefully they can pump it out quick. I’ve heard numerous times that they are shipping thousands of parts a week so surely it won’t be long.

Well, I heard back Kawasaki today. They said that it “seems” that the manufacturing plant was closed for a few weeks due to Covid-19. They said that the plant is opened back up now but they cannot give an eta on when the dealership will be receiving my Mule. He said that his best guess is somewhere between 30-60 days....  I wish they would have relayed this information to the dealership instead of leaving them in the dark on the situation. Would have been nice to know that instead of 7-10 days, it would take me 2-3 months to get the Mule. Regardless, I suppose I’m at the mercy of the virus and it’s delays if I want a Mule.

Tried to buy a 2020 Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT and was told their was a stop sale on them, but the dealer had no info on what the problem was or how long until a solution is found to whatever the issue is.   Anyone know anything about this?

Dec 31st. It was a long wait but worth it!

Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.
      Until next time...

My "R" light on the dash will not go out when I take the UTV out of reverse and put it into any other gear. Is this just the light switch issue or will this effect engine performance in the other gears?

hello everyone, i just joined this forum to try my luck, few days ago i bought an old (dont know exactly), 2011/14 hi sun 500cc ""carburated"",  was not running at the time, but i fell was a good deal and decided it to bring it home to play with it, this is the issue, i bought and installed a new carb, and pump, i repositioned the battery location and upgraded to a "car batt", reconnected the fuel lines and started it, but it only runs with the choke ON, i checked the bowl, it does have fuel, but for some reason wont inject it to run, i came across a video that say that ""the body small tank had to be connected for the cart to run" (was deleted when bought), sure enough i got it to run sporadically , but the so called ""small body tank'' often runs out of fuel and wont refill itself , i had to couple times do it manually, so how does that small tank works ?..what does it do?..and why if  bypass it , the cart wont start?....any help?..thanks so much!!!
