  1. Welcome to the UTV Board! we have quite a few members with diverse opinions on massimo's here so you should find what you need
  2. Probably not for a UTV, they would have to come from Cub Cadet dealer
  3. Time to Rock and Roll!! just don't roll too much
  4. Did you check the voltage while idling? Really the next step is to get a service manual so you can know what you're doing with out any doubts, as sometimes, electricity can be crazy. Do you know if this model uses a automotive type alternator run by a belt, or a smaller alternator placed behind the flywheel charged by magnets? Here's a few shop manuals for the 3010, I have one by the same company that's on the CD you load up on the computer, for my 550. https://www.amazon.com/Kawasaki-Service-Repair-Maintenance-2003-2008/dp/B00JDNDE4Y/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Kawasaki+3010+Mule+Service+Manual&qid=1598223836&sr=8-1 Book: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-Mule-3010-3020-3000-2001-2002-2003-2004-2005-2006-2007-Service-Manual/124249546881?hash=item1cedd9a081:g:FksAAOSw4HNaYOyg
  5. Looks like the storms are doing a dosey doh on us, Marco is now headed to Louisiana and and Laura (Which is predicted to be a Cat 2 or 3) is now headed towards texas...... Who knows.....
  6. a lot of newer exhausts gaskets i've seen on UTV's and small engines are metal, close to a head gasket type material.
  7. Just upgraded to Tropical Storm Marco. Now where's Polo?? lol
  8. We definitely need the rain, KHOU talked about the Tropical depression may be a Cat 1 at landfall, and they moved the track just south of us, which will put us on the wet side. Ike hit us head on as a Cat 2 in '08
  9. The regulator/rectifier is usually the problem. If the new one doesn't fix it, get a Service manual for it so you can perform the proper tests to diagnose the problem.

  11. With the engine running, i would check to see if there is warm air blowing out of that rubber tube.
  12. They should work, looked at both parts lists for the dumps beds, the side carriers and the floor have the same part numbers. Besides color variation.
  13. Welcome! Definitely don't need to be breathing that stuff in! I've searched around on google and couldn't find anyone else with that problem. Does the tail pipe go the very back of the machine and exit at the rear? I would be inclined to check for any exhaust leaks near the manifold (assuming a 2 cylinder engine?) or any cracks in the exhaust pipe.
  14. Air box? If so, they are listed as the same partnumber for the 2013 and 2006 Mule 610.
  15. Welcome! Depends, are you looking for an engine that will replace it? Or do you have the new Kubota engine, and you just need to know how to pull the engine?

An incorrectly manufactured clutch component can cause the engine braking feature to fail, resulting in unexpected vehicle motion, posing a crash hazard. Number of affected vehicles: approximately 15,000 Number of incidents: Polaris has received 14 reports of unexpected motion or drive clutch locking, including one report of a crash resulting in property damage. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and call their dealer to schedule an inspection and if needed, a repair. 17. This may very well help someone in the future too!
  18. Was it the vent from a valve cover to the airbox? Or from the carb to the open air? Older carbs are also vented to the atmosphere... now days due to the EPA they vent back into the airbox.
  19. black plug means the engine is running rich, too much fuel in the mixture, or not enough air in the mix... check and clean the air filter.
  20. I replaced the Carb on my Mule with a Chinese one, $75 was a lot better than $250.... One thing I like about the aftermarket carbs, they don't have that POS Limiter cap on the idle mixture... So far it's been good on mine... When you pull the carb apart, look at the needle tip, be sure there are no small grooves or it isn't shaped funny (other than the perfect cone shape) could be its wearing and letting extra gas slip by.. I believe they use a a Viton (rubbery) tip and brass seat..
  21. One thing you might can do is carry a can of starting fluid or carb spray/parts cleaner with you, kill it, and if it doesn't restart, try to shoot some straight into the air intake and if it fires up, most likely a fuel issue...( I'm not sure how easy the filter is to remove on this engine, so it may not be a feasible a task...) something makes me think it may be running lean.... Have you looked at the color of the spark plugs?
  22. Or remove the battery and have a parts store load test it.
  23. Check the battery voltage, key off, everything off., Then have some one turn the key to start and hold it there while you're checking the battery if the voltage drops to about 10, or 9 Volts, I would replace the battery.
