  1. Welcome from East Texas! Most likely the needle in the carburetor is faulty letting gas seep into the cylinder and past the piston into the crankcase.
  2. I use. Rocky Mountain for multiple items, and Utv parts and accessories have always been very helpful. Have bought 1 set of tires for the mule from them, 6 years ago, 4 for about $275 I think. Holding up nicely.
  3. Rocky Mountain ATV, and https://utvpartsandaccessories.com
  4. I don't know a whole lot about these Massimo brand, but it could be 2 things, a vacuum leak, causing excess air to enter the combustion chamber, or it could even be a electronic issue. The bogging makes me think it's more of a vacuum leak, how I find vacuum leaks is I get a bottle of WD 40 in a trigger Pack, not a aresol can. And with it running spray around the injectors and lines and if I spray it in a certain spot and the engine speed changes, that's where it's leaking.
  5. There is discussion about this on a hunting forum I am on, one of the guys contacted Kawasaki and "The bad news is the factory that makes and distributes the parts they need to fix the recall is shut down from Covid-19"
  6. Choking an engine provides a rich fuel mixture be lessening the amount of air entering the carburetor. So somewhere you have a fuel restriction, I would start by cleaning all fuel lines making sure the are clear of debris, if it has a fuel pump, be sure it works properly, and change the fuel filter. If none of that works there's possibly a blocked jet in the carburetor that needs cleaned.
  7. Probably taking so long due to the fixes, I imagine they will need to come up with a fix for The problem, test it, make sure it works so they dont have to do this all over again then add it to all the thousands of models and vehicles affected. But I'm sure it is very frustrating waiting, think after doing this for 30 years they'd have it down. Hope you all get on the trail soon!
  8. To be honest I don't know of any Cub Cadet utv part houses. Since Cub cadet doesn't make the buggy parts could be sourced from all over the world and put together in a Chinese factory. They do resemble a Massimo utv, so they might make it. https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/service-and-parts/service-parts.html
  9. Welcome to the UTV Board bob!
  10. Textron and arctic cat merged, the closest servicing dealer is outside 50 Miles from Louisville. https://arcticcat.txtsv.com/shopping-tools/find-dealer
  11. HiSun can answer your question https://www.hisunmotors.com/contact/us/
  12. Welcome to the UTV Board! it's nice country up your way in east TX.
  13. Oh here is the manual I found. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1006793/Hisun-Hs500utv.html?page=96#manual
  14. Most likely it's a 22 MM nut....hisun specifies a 94 foot pounds for a 22 mm nut. If it's not 22MM take the nut to a local hardware or parts store and try to find a socket, any good parts store ought to have individual sockets for sale. On my mules rear axle it's a 26 MM with 110 ft lbs.
  15. I do know that sometimes water in the fuel because that problem also....
  16. fuel injected? could be a bad fuel pump, not pulling enough fuel From the tank to rev up, or a clogged filter... I'd start with basics and make sure you have good u uninterrupted supply of fuel
  17. She's Charging! new regulator, fired it up, 13.2 at idle went up as speed increased. And redid the alternator wires afterwards.
  18. No problem, hope it'll keep on working for ya!
  19. From what I know, probably not, unless you buy a new starter that either will or will not fix the issue. My personal advice would be as long as it starts, leave well enough alone...
  20. 330 cca should be more than enough. Virtually all small engines have a compression release, it's usually placed on the cam shaft and provides a bump to the exhaust valve during start up. It could simply just be a common occurrence on these machines
