Does this have a safety switch so it won't start in Gear? My mule acted the same way one time, turned out to be the neutral safety switch.- 17 replies

Just look both ways at the stop sign so you won't have to stomp on the brakes so hard ...

I guess go back to the basics..... Fuel Spark (at the correct time) And Compression What I would do is fit an Inline spark tester to the plug wires, and when it won't restart, crank it over and see if you're getting a constant spark.or intermittent... https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-20610-Inline-Spark-Tester/dp/B0002STSC6

Try pushing the gas peddle down to the floor when starting, and let off as soon as it starts...my mule has been similar as long as I can remember, but hold the pedal down and it would probably start right up in the north pole! One thing I would do is pull your spark plugs out and check them to be sure you aren't running too lean..

3600 is pretty much the standard for Max rpm for small 1 or twin cylinder engines, Some manufacturers will governor them to 3600Max, but they are usually safe up to 3800-4000 rpm... I was told this by a guy I know who is a Briggs and Stratton MST,, Kohler and Briggs and Stratton found that with the RPM set at 3600 is where the highest torque/power produced at the lowest revolutions... So in a sense more efficient and less wear on the engine.

Could you elaborate a bit please?

We're losing the old timers of country music, and I can't stand much of what's on the radio now that passes for country music.

This is what a PDM looks like and according to Polaris your specific model has one : And it does appear to be mounted under the dash according to parts diagrams... but it looks like on the driver side?
-
i assume it uses a CVT belt set up? If its brand new, take it to where you purchased it or contact the manufacture... Im sure that is NOT normal...

21121-2092 COIL-IGNITION Or it could be referring to the igniter, which is basically an electronic points set that "tells" the coils when to fire... does the manual show a picture of it? 21119-1583 for the igntiter.
